Chapter 10: Dream

Ilus pov:
I open my eyes to see Ridder sleeping like a baby, I smile and give him a quick kiss on his cheek before going to the bathroom. On my way to the bathroom I remember the dream I had, Ridder proposed to me, I was pregnant, everything seemed so real. I make it to the bathroom and freshen up, truth is I would have stayed in bed longer but I'm really hungry at the moment. I turn on the sink and I notice a ring on my left hand "AHHHHHHH!" I screamed. My scream probably alerted Ridder because he came running into the bathroom half awake. "Ilu what's wrong!" He asked worried. "It wasn't a dream!" I yelled excited. "What wasn't a dream?" He asked. I show him my left hand and he starts laughing. "You really sounded like you were getting attacked." He said while laughing. He approached me and gave me a kiss full of love. "What time is it? I feel horrible." Said Ridder. "It's around 8, you were up all night drinking with Yami and Nozel. You need a bath too, you reek of alcohol." I said while waving the smell away. "Want to take a bath with me?" Ridder asked me. I blushed heavily at the thought, but now that I thought about it we've already seen each other naked countless times and he is my fiance. "Sure, I could use a bath." I said. "I'll go get the bath ready." Ridder told me. I just nodded and thought, if the proposal wasn't a dream then that means I really am pregnant. "Bath's ready." Said Ridder pulling me out of my thoughts. I get up and walk with him to the bathroom, once we arrive the both of us undress and start to enter the warm water. "Ahhh, this feels so nice." I said while relaxing. I felt Ridder put his arm around me and touch my belly. "Right now the baby is in a submarine." He joked. I laughed at his bad joke, after the laugh we stared at each other and kissed. As we kiss I caress his chest and abs, and I feel him fondle my breasts which cause me to moan. "Oh, Riddy!" I exclaim while moaning. He starts going down and he starts rubbing my clitoris and that makes me moan even louder. Over these five years me and him know each others weakness and we love it. "Riddy, can you please wash my back for me?" I asked. "Of course I can." Said Ridder. I felt Ridders strong hands against my back, the feeling was comfortable. After the bath both of us quickly changed and talked a bit before breakfast.

Narrator pov
In another part of the Silva residence.
Asta and Noelle could be seen talking behind the shed. "Noelle are you sure about this?" Asked Asta worried that Ridder may find out. "It's fine, and he can't find out if he can't find us." Said Noelle reassuring Asta. "Alright, but are you really sure about doing that again?" Asked Asta blushing remembering when Noelle kissed him. Noelle only giggled while blushing, "I am completely sure. Me and you both liked it, so I don't see anything wrong with k-k-kissing again." Noelle said a little shy. "Okay fine. Let's just do this." Said Asta with a blush. Both approached bringing their faces closer, the two closed their eyes and touched lips. After a few seconds of kissing they broke away looking flustered. "If Ridder finds out about that, he'll kill you Asta. Ke ke ke." Said a mischievous small being holding a photo. "LIEBE!!"Both Asta and Noelle shouted. "If you don't want Ridder to see this photo, you'll have to be my personal slave for today." Said Liebe while smiling evilly. "Fuck you, I'm not gonna do that!" Yelled Asta. "That's right, you're just being mean Liebe." Noelle said. "Come on pigtails, I'll even let you in on the fun." Said Liebe smiling mischievously. Noelle thought about it for a second, but she knew Asta wouldn't like it. "Still no, and if you show that photo to Ridder I'll stop giving you head pats." Said Noelle. "NO PLEASE! Not the head pats!" Yelled Liebe. "No more head pats unless if you give me that photo and device you took the picture with." Said Noelle. "Alright fine." Said Liebe defeated. Asta sighed because he thought he was now safe. "Thanks Noelle, if it weren't for you I'd definitely be humiliated by Liebe." Said Asta grateful for what Noelle did. Asta looked at Noelle and saw her giggling a lot. "Uhh Noelle? You alright?" Asta asked. "Oh I'm fine. It's just that since I did you a big favor, you now owe me one." Said Noelle smiling. Asta was nervous at what Noelle was saying. "Uhh what do I owe you Noelle?" Asta asked. "You will make me feel like a real princess and be my personal servant for the day." Commanded Noelle. "Bu-" Asta was interrupted. "No buts. I saved your life, so this is how you'll repay me." Said Noelle with a firm voice. "Alright fine." Said Asta a bit angry. "For today you won't call me Noelle, you'll call me Princess Noelle." Said Noelle. "Now carry me to the dining room, I'm hungry." Commanded Noelle. "Yes princess Noelle." Said Asta while crying. After the three arrived to the dining room they could see Solid, Nebra, Nozel, Ilu, and Ridder eating breakfast. "About time you three arrived." Said Nozel who just finished his breakfast. "Liebe was being an Idiot and delayed our arrival." Said Noelle in a superior tone. "We wouldn't have taken so long if you and Asta weren't kissing." Said Liebe annoyed. "You Idiot! You weren't supposed to say that!" Yelled Asta. "Expect no more head pats from me Liebe." Said Noelle with anger. "No please! I'll do anything!" Said Liebe in desperation. Asta had an idea, so he whispered it to Noelle. "Princess Noelle, let's make him our personal servant for the day." Whispered Asta. "Sounds good to me." Said Noelle. "Alright Liebe, to make up for it. You have to be our personal servant for the day." Said Asta. "You will call me Sir Asta." Added Asta. "And you will call me princess Noelle." Said Noelle. "Damn, alright." Said Liebe. "What are you guys talking about?" Asked Nebra. "Nothing, say did you hear anything what Liebe said?" Asked Asta. "Yeah we did." Said Nozel. "What! Then why aren't you killing him?!" Asked Liebe. "Normally I would kill him, but Noelle wouldn't like that. Also, Ridder doesn't mind a relationship between those two." Said Nozel. "What a relief." Sighed Asta. "Does that mean I don't have to be your personal servant?" Asked Liebe. "No, you still told them even though you said you wouldn't." Said Noelle. "Damn it." Liebe whispered. The three kids started to eat breakfast, but shortly after they heard something that caught their attention. "Solid, what squad will you be joining?" Asked Nozel. "I'll join the Silver eagles obviously." Answered Solid. "I thought I had no choice, but to join the silver eagles." Solid added. "Not really, you can join any squad you want. Look at your cousin Kirsch Vermillion, he joined the purple peacocks." Said Ridder. "I thought that was because his family doesn't have their own squad?" Asked Solid. "That's part of the reason, if his family did have their own squad he'd most likely join that. However, royals get to join any squad because they have special privileges. They just don't have to take the magic knights exam." Answered Ridder. "That's not fair, why do royals get special privileges?" Asked Asta. "I agree that it's not fair, but that's how it has been for the longest time. Don't worry, since the public thinks of you as a Silva you won't have to take part in the magic knights exam because I'm pretty sure Nozel will gladly accept you." Said Ridder. "I'd be an Idiot not to take him in." Said Nozel. "That doesn't seem fair, I want to earn my position as a magic knight. I'm gonna take the exam like how everyone else will." Said Asta. Ridder smiled at Astas declaration. "Asta's right, I'm gonna take the magic knights exam too." Said Noelle. "You two have three years until the exam, so just train for now." Said Ridder. "Alright Noelle, after breakfast let's go train. You too Liebe." Said Asta. "Nozel, since you're staying for the day can you keep an eye on them?" Asked Ridder. "You can bring Dorothy if you want, just make sure the kids don't do anything stupid." Ridder added on. Ridder looked the love of his life who sat next to him, Ilu currently kept quiet the entire time only eating several plates. "Madam Staria, can you please slow down. We're almost out of ingredients for any more food." Asked the cooks. "Don't call me that, soon I'll be Mrs.Silva! Call me MRS.SILVA!!" Shouted Ilu angrily. "I'm sorry Mrs.Silva." Said the chef while bowing. Ridder looked at the scene with a drop of sweat. "Honey, I think you should calm down just a bit." Said Ridder. "Don't tell me to calm down." Said Ilu threateningly. "We have to go to Owen soon. A-and I think being calm would be best while we visit him." Said Ridder scared. "I never thought I'd ever see Ridder like that." Commented Nebra. "Man those two are lucky. Giving us a nephew or niece and getting married." Said Noelle. "That reminds me. Where do babies come from?" Asked Asta. "I don't know." Said Noelle. The adults stayed quiet until Liebe decided to say something. "I thought I told you guys already? The dad puts his pe-" Liebe is cut off my Nozel binding his mouth with mercury. "Liebe you had something on your face, let me get that for you." Said Nozel glaring at him. "Babies are made when a guy ejaculates his semen inside a woman." Said Ilu. Both Asta and Noelle were confused. "What?!" The both of them asked. Ridder sighed at the kids reaction and his beloveds outburst. "Nozel, can you give them that book." Said Ridder. "Are you talking about that book I gave to Solid?" asked Nozel. Ridder only nodded. Nozel undid the Mercury binding on Liebe and left the dining room. Liebe gasped for air and said "man, today is not my day." Said Liebe. "Well, I'm satisfied. Ridder let's go to Owen and get our first checkup. Also I want to give uncle Julius the news." Said Ilu. "Of course dear." Was all Ridder said before picking her up and walking away with her. "Those two are so romantic." Said Noelle. "Asta promise me that one day me and you will be like that." Said Noelle. "Ridder seems like he's being controlled by my sister. I will never let anyone control me." Said Asta looking proud. "I will control you." Said Noelle giving a threatening glare. "Please don't control me. I promise that I'll only be yours, but please don't control me." Asta begged. "Hmmm. I'll think about it, but for now you shall take me to my room." Commanded Noelle. "What! But I thought Liebe was supposed to be our servant." Complained Asta. "He is, but I don't feel comfortable with him carrying me." Said Noelle. Asta just started grumbling and took Noelle to her room. Once Noelle entered her room, she made sure Asta wasn't in it and the door was locked. After double checking, she took out a book and attached the picture she took from Liebe. She closed the book and kissed it, the title of the book was "The princess and her knight in shining armor". "I think having a scrapbook containing many pictures of me and Asta might be a bit obsessive, but who cares." Thought Noelle. She hid the book in a secret compartment inside her closet and quickly left the closet and closed the closet door. After her little secret she left her room to see Asta doing push-ups. "97-98-99-100!" Shouted Asta who noticed the silver haired leaving her room. "Gee, took you long enough." Said Asta. "I was busy doing girl stuff, a boy like you wouldn't understand." Said Noelle. "There you kids are." Said a older voice. "Nozel?" Asked the two kids. "Come with me, there's something you need to learn before training." Said Nozel knowing damn well he was about to ruin their innocence. Once they made it to the library, Nozel gave them a book with the title of "Sexual Intercourse and development of a infant.". "What's this?" Asked Asta. Nozel just sighed "just read the book you two." While Nozel was feeling guilty for what he was doing, Ridder and Ilu could be seen with Owen. "From what I can tell, you've been pregnant for two weeks. Congratulations." Said Owen. "I don't understand why you had to come to me, there are many other good healing mages to help with this." Said Owen. "Riddy wanted the best healing mage for me." Said Ilu. "Ridder I'm flattered, but I kind of have more important things to do like heal seriously injured magic knights." Said Owen. "Hehe, I mean if it's with Ilu I want only the best." Said Ridder. Owen sighed. "Well that's all I have to say for now, make sure to come back every month just to see if the baby is growing healthy." Said Owen. "Sure thing Owen!" Said both Ilu and Ridder. When the couple left the medical ward Ilu remembered that Julius should know about the news. "Riddy, I think we should tell Julius." Said Ilu. "We should." Said Ridder a little worried knowing of Ilus and Julius' relationship. When the couple arrived at Julius' office they met the Wizard Kings assistant. "Good morning marx, is Julius here?" Asked Ridder. "Good morning you two, and Julius should be in his office unless he's ignoring his duties again." Said Marx annoyed remembering the Wizard Kings antics. "Uncle Julius does hate paper work." Giggled Ilu. The couple knocked on the door, and they soon heard a "come in" from the other side. The two entered the room to see Julius doing his paperwork. "Well this is a surprising sight." Said Ilu. "Ilu? Ridder? What brings you two in here?" Asked Julius happy to see two of his most favorite people alive. "Me and Riddy have some news to give you." Ilu said. Julius was intrigued, he knew the two of them had been in a relationship for quite some time he decided not to use his magic to spoil the surprise for him. "Well what is it?" Asked Julius. "We're getting married." Said Ridder while holding Ilus hand. "And not just that, but we're also expecting." Ilu added on. Julius was happy, his best friends daughter was soon about to have a family of her own. "That is amazing news!" Exclaimed Julius. "When's the wedding? How long have you been pregnant for?" Julius kept on asking many questions. Ilu giggled at Julius' behavior, "Uncle Julius, even though we haven't thought of when the wedding will happen. Can you promise me that you'll be there, and also since my father isn't going to be here maybe you can-" Ilu was cut off by Julius saying "I will be there, and I will walk you down Ilu. I see you as my own daughter, I'm sure both Anthony and Acier would have been happy for the both of you." Said Julius. Ridder smiled and Ilu was crying. "Thank you uncle Julius." Ilu said while hugging Julius who returned the hug. "Ilu, can I please talk with Ridder for a moment. Don't worry it'll be quick." Said Julius. Once Ilu left the room Julius encased the room in a time sphere, "why such precautions Julius?" Asked Ridder. "I don't want Ilu to be eavesdropping on us." Said Julius. There was a slight moment of silence until Julius spoke "I'm happy for you two, but promise me not to make Ilu ever cry. If you break her heart royalty or not I won't hesitate to kill you." Said Julius in a threatening tone. For Ridder this was the first time he'd seen Julius this scary, he knew he was strong but he thought he was a strong cheerful type of guy. "I promise you, I would never do anything to break Ilus heart. I love her more than anything in the world and now she's carrying my child. If I ever do something to make Ilu cry I won't hesitate to let you kill me." Said Ridder. "That's wonderful to hear." Was all Julius said before undoing his magic. "I can't wait for the wedding, and please take care of her." Said Julius. "We haven't talked about when we'll have the wedding, but I will take care of her. And I'll even put up with her mood swings." Said Ridder before leaving. Julius waved goodbye and Ridder did the same, "Love is something to cherish, a heart break is something that you can never forget." Thought Julius remembering a certain silver haired woman. "But it was never your fault Acier." Thought Julius. "Well I think I'll take a break, and try to find some new magic." Said Julius. Julius used his transformation magic and teleported away. After the scene Ridder could be seen walking with Ilu. "What did Julius want to talk about with you?" Asked Ilu. "He just said that I can't ever make you sad and stuff like that, but you know me. I will never make you cry." Said Ridder. "What about tears of joy?" Asked Ilu. "Well that's different, you're not sad when it's tears of joy so I guess that's fine." Said Ridder. "I guess that was a dumb question." Giggled Ilu. "Yeah it was pretty dumb." Commented Ridder. "Are you calling me dumb?" Said Ilu angrily. "No, but your question was kind of dumb." Ridder said with honesty. "I hate you." Said Ilu with a pout. "I love you too honey." Said Ridder while laughing. "Hey! That's not funny!" Yelled Ilu. "I can't help it. You're so cute right now." Laughed Ridder. "I'm always cute." Said Ilu in a proud manner. "Yes you are." Said Ridder before giving her a kiss. Ilu responded with back to the kiss and made the kiss even deeper. After a minute of sharing a passionate kiss both broke away and gasped got air. "Let's go home now, I'm getting tired." Said Ilu. "As you wish, your highness." Said Ridder picking her up. At the Silva palace Asta, Liebe, and Noelle could be seen training. "Ahhh! One more! I can't give up!" Yelled Asta. "Im gonna give it my all with this last attack." Said Noelle. Noelle launched a large water ball towards Asta and the boy sliced it with demon slayer. "Well that's enough training for today." Said Nozel. Liebe who was practicing how to shape anti-magic into finer objects stopped what he was doing. "I managed to make small anti-magic knives, although they were hard to maintain." Said Liebe. "Don't worry soon you'll be able master it completely." Reassured Nozel. "Thanks Nozel. By the way, why are those two so quiet?" Asked Liebe pointing at Asta and Noelle. Nozel who knew why they were acting strange decided it was best to tell the truth. "They found out how babies are made." Said Nozel. "Humans are weird." Said Liebe. "You've been living with humans for years now, are you not used to it?" Asked Nozel. "I'm used to it, you guys are way better than devils and demons. Although some humans aren't so far behind devils." Said Liebe. "I know what people can be capable of, I've seen it with my own eyes." Said Nozel remembering a blood and curse magic user. Asta and Noelle are currently staring at the ground with blank looks. "Man, if me and Noelle want kids does that mean..." Asta thought what the book explained and wanted to forget it. "Obviously, both me and Asta are too young for this kind of stuff. Maybe for now I should just distract myself with new hobbies instead of just think about Asta." Noelle thoroughly thought. The two looked at each other and quickly looked away, they both were embarrassed. "Man I really wish I never read that book." Complained Asta in his thoughts or so he thought. "You two were bound to know at some point, since you two asked you got your answer. Now stop complaining and go take a bath, all three of you." Commanded Nozel. "Yes Nozel." Said the three. After their bath they all arrived at the living room. "I'm bored" said Liebe. "We could play something." Proposed Asta. "I'd rather read a good book if I'm being honest. I'm kind of tired and I just want to read something interesting." Said Noelle. "Why won't you just reread that baby book?" Liebe joked. Asta who couldn't help but feel embarrassed at that book being mentioned decided to speak. "Let's just do something that'll help me forget." Said Asta. "Alright fine." Was all Noelle said. "Looks like you don't like reading." Said Liebe. "After reading that book, I don't think I could read ever again." Said Asta traumatized. "We're home" said Ridder from the entrance while carrying a sleeping Ilu. "Welcome home!" The three shouted. "Hey Noelle, you think Ridder and Ilu did the thing?" Asta whispered. "I think so, how else did Ilu get pregnant. Wait a minute.... They aren't even married yet and they did the thing." Noelle whispered back. "I don't want to talk about this anymore, I think I'm gonna be sick." Said Asta before fainting. "Asta... ASTA!!" Shouted Noelle. "What happened to him?" Asked Liebe. "I think he fainted because he found out Ridder and Ilu did it before marriage." Said Noelle. "Did what?" Asked Liebe. "The s-s-sex" Noelle struggled out to say. "So that's what it's called." Said Liebe. "Yeah I've walked in on them doing it several times. I tried bleaching my eyes, but nothing works." Liebe sighed. "Ew!" Shouted Noelle. "What are you guys talking about? And why is Asta passed out?" Said Ridder approaching the three. "Nothing." Said Noelle. "They were wondering why you had sex before marriage." Said Liebe nonchalantly. "You idiot you can't just say that!" Shouted Noelle. Ridder didn't know what to say, he knew Liebe usually just said whatever was on his mind. "What's wrong with having a baby before marriage?" Asked Ridder. "After reading the book Nozel showed me and Asta, Nozel said this is something only married people do. And you and Ilu aren't married, but you're still having a baby." Answered Noelle. Ridder really didn't know what to say, one talking about this topic with a child was very uncomfortable, two he really didn't know of any good excuse to give to Noelle, and three he didn't know how to divert the topic. So, Ridder was left with one option: "Hey behind you two is Timothy with a ton of ice cream for you two." Said Ridder. The two kids looked back and when they did Ridder gave them a blow to the neck and knocked them unconscious. "Did you seriously just knock out two children?!" Yelled Nebra who arrived with Solid. "They shouldn't have asked such silly questions." Said Ridder making steel platforms to carry the three unconscious children. "Last time I checked, hitting children enough to make then unconscious is considered child abuse." Said Solid. "Just wait until Ilu finds out about this." Said Nebra. "Ilu won't find out about this, because you two will stay quiet. Is that clear." Said Ridder with a firm tome while expelling his mana. "Y-y-yes." The two said with fear. "Good, now if they ask what happened just say they fell asleep after training." Said Ridder carrying the three kids to their rooms. "I don't think they'll forget what happened." Said Nebra when they saw Ridder leave. "I don't know maybe Asta won't remember?" Questioned Solid. "Maybe not, I'm not sure myself." Replied Nebra. After the odd situation Ridder went to his room to see Ilu waking up. "How was your nap?" Asked Ridder. "It was nice, I had a nice dream." Said Ilu. "What was your dream about?" Asked Ridder. Ilu snuggled up and started hugging Ridder, "In the dream, I saw me and you in a lake. There were two kids who were playing in the water, and.. that's all I can remember." Said Ilu. Ridder smiled, his beloved was already having dreams about their kids. "That dream will soon become reality." Said Ridder while giving Ilu a kiss. "So, have you thought about when we'll have our wedding?" Asked Ilu. "I was thinking of having it in the banquet hall." Answered Ridder. "Ilu thought about it and said "I don't care where our wedding takes place. As long as no one ruins it, the wedding will be more than perfect." Said Ilu before giving Ridder a sweet kiss. "I love it when you kiss me like that." Said Ridder. "I have plenty more where that came from." Said Ilu kissing him more. As the two were kissing Ridder remembered the worst part of getting married: the paperwork. "Ilu, you know how we're getting married?" Asked Ridder. Ilu only hummed and Ridder took that as a sign to continue speaking. "Since a Royal is getting married, especially the head of a royal house, it's necessary for both the bride and groom to sign a bunch of papers. Normally there would be a hearing, but since I am the head of a royal house I can skip the hearing and have us just sign all the paperwork." Said Ridder. "Ugh, that's sounds so fucking boring. Well, at least we won't have to be at a hearing. Say, what is a hearing anyway?" Asked Ilu. "It's pretty much just getting asked questions by the heads of the royal houses, it's a super long procedure. Luckily since I am head of a royal house I can skip that." Answered Ridder. "Sounds boring" said Ilu. "Well, when will we have to sign the paperwork?" Asked Ilu. "Tomorrow we'll sign all that paperwork, let's just go take a nap we'll need all the sleep we can get." Said Ridder laying down in bed. Ilu reluctantly agreed and hugged Ridder tightly, both soon fell asleep experiencing dreams containing all of their hopes and desires. As the couple were sleeping, in a room several hallways away a gray haired boy could be seen asleep but was twisting and turning.
