Sometimes it feels like the world's against you. The one moment you need to make everything right doesn't arrive, and you kick the leaves on the sidewalk as you trundle home. Clouds fill the sky, you feel like you can't do anything. And you feel like you just can't go on any longer. You stand in a line for your coffee, even though you know the high will end soon. Fake a smile, grab your breakfast to go. Something's just out of place, and everything's falling to pieces.
But it's okay. Because you're just having a bad day. Rip the page off your calender, mark it off. Sing a sad song. And don't lie - you know why you're having a bad day, don't fake a smile and walk it off. The camera's don't like, you're slumping and you notice, but it's like you don't care. But it's just one bad day.
Maybe you just need a break? A holiday somewhere nice and sunny? Since whatever you say, they point and laugh. And sometimes the system fails and the lights flash red, and everything turns out wrong. You might not make it back from wherever you've ended up, but you know that you are strong enough to at least try.
So find that spark, that passion, right when you need it the most. Dance down the sidewalk instead of trudging. Because a bad day is a bad day, but you can make it great. Sing a sad song and revel in the catharsis. You've had bad days before, of course, and it feels terribly every time. And you're stuck in a rut, and you can't seem to get out, but you will. It's just one bad day, or two, or three, but you can turn everything around.
