I've found myself dreaming, in swathes and rivers of silver and gold. Just like a scene in a romantic movie, the one that every girl and boy who's had a broken heart would know. We walked across the glowing moonlight among the stars, and you pulled me close to you. And then I blinked, a second passed, I blinked again, you disappeared, and I was alone again.
I woke up in tears, with you were still there by my side, mumbling about something silly. And I sighed in relief but stopped when I realised that tomorrow isn't a certainty for us. There are no guarantees.
And in the blink of an eye, in a brief whisper of smoke, you could lose everything and anything, and you'll never know when or how. So I'll kiss you longer, harder, slower, and at any chance I get. Let's make the most of the seconds and minutes and hours and love each other with absolutely no regrets. Let's take our time and take it slow, but we'll say what we want, use what we've got before it's all gone. Because tomorrow isn't promised to us.
So now I'm gonna love you like I'm gonna lose you, and I'm going to hold you tight like you're about to say goodbye and leave forever. Wherever we are, whatever we are, I won't take you for granted. Because we never know when we'll run out of time. Let's love each other like we're going to lose each other, hold each other closer. Because I never want to say goodbye,
