"Where are we going now?" Steve said, sitting back down, his face still redder than a tomato. Mine pulled a couple more levers and moved a module in front of his face, swiping his finger across the screen.
"I'm taking you home." Steve shrunk in his seat and sighed. Snowy walked over to him and forced him to sit up and endure the disappointment.
"We could go anywhere in the universe and YOUR TAKING US HOME!" Steve yelled and sank in his seat again crossing his arms and grunting. Snowy smiled and looked back to Mine who didn't have a clue of what was happening. The ship flung itself at the ground, quickly appearing on the ground next to a huge mass of burnt wood.
"This isn't our house..." Mine walked out of the Carbonizor with Steve and Snowy following behind.
"Yes it is..." Steve said dryly. Snowy walked around the front kicking ash and burnt wood out of the way.
"Is everything gone?" Mine turned around, shut the Carbonizor doors and walked into the rundown house. Snowy gave him a confused look and ran up behind him.
"What are you doing in my house?" Mine gave her a grin and opened up her fridge looking at its contents slamming its door as he pulled out a cake.
"See if I can figure out what blew up your house then maybe we can prevent it in the past to save it." Snowy glanced at the cake which he pulled closer to his chest walking into the living room.
"Well look what we have here!" The room was completely burnt, only showing a large hole in the ceiling and bits and pieces of furniture scattered across the room.
"So the cake survives but the living room blows up..." Steve said, sneaking down the stairs. Mine pulled out his remote and searched the room with it as it made a buzzing sound.
"You're going to blow up my house aren't you?" Mine ignored her and put the remote up to eye level studying what was shown on the screen and sighed. Steve stepped a foot in front of him and stumbled down the stairs tearing the blue wallpaper off the wall and crashed to the ground taking out a stool.
"Steve ..." He picked his head up grinning.
"Yea?"
"You're an idiot." He smashed his head on the floor laughing. Mine walked out of the room clicking his tongue in concentration. Steve pulled himself up and walked over to what remained of the porch. Their two story home had been burnt to the ground leaving an ash covered structure missing a roof and a huge chunk in the front where the living room used to be. Mine paced in the kitchen inspecting the fridge and everything else.
"Does Sunset have any enemies?" Snowy hesitated an answer and shook her head.
"For all we know we don't... but you could ask our may-"
"I know Mayor Steve the 10th. You don't need to tell me." He interrupted. Steve snickered and walked outside, tripping over a chunk of wood and falling out the door.
"Your brother is clumsy isn't he...?" Snowy laughed and nodded.
"So what are you looking for?" Mine pressed his ear to the floor near the fridge.
"Well I'm seeing if someone that I really hope isn't here isn't here." Snowy cocked her head to the side in confusion. He met her glance and stood up facing her.
"I mean there's this... girl... that... uh..." He stopped and rubbed his forehead slowly, losing his train of thought. He turned back to the fridge and pointed the remote to the floor. It buzzed and the fridge crashed through the floor. He flung the remote in the air once more and shoved it in his pocket.
