'I need to make a huge distraction... something bright and... loud...' He turned around and grinned widely.

"Perfect..." He said running across the room grabbing a box and kicking down the door running through the prison sprawling them everywhere. The fireworks were filled to the brim with gunpowder meaning the blast would be 10 times louder than any blast that could be made. The cells were full of hurt people that didn't do what the boss wanted. They watched him as he connected them all with a wick and went from cell to cell filling them with nothing but fireworks. People inside the cells were let free and sent into the room he had hid in earlier for safety while he set up the pyrotechnics. He went to the solitary confinement cells and stuffed them with gunpowder. Pouring the powder he bumped into a lever and a door at the end of the hall opened completely shaded in darkness. He dropped the container of gunpowder and walked slowly to the door. He pulled out his remote and unlocked it with a loud click. He slowly opened the door to the dark room getting hit with a steaming hot blast of air. The room was empty only with a fold up bed on the wall and not even a toilet. He walked into the room and searched the wall near him for a light switch and flicked it on. The light flickered on and off every couple seconds and the empty room barely changed. He searched the room from top to bottom and noticed something laying in the corner breathing heavily. The steam started fading away as it escaped from the room through the door. The coolness calmed the figure down and it tried to sit up. Mine pointed his remote at the light enhancing it enough to see the entire room. He gasped, dropping everything he had running over to the figure.

"S-Steve! What happened to you!?!" Mine started pulling random things out of his bag trying to find some sort of healing potion. Steve shuttered and uncurled from a ball. His leg was attached to the wall by a chain and his arm was a bit bruised but he was all right. Steve pointed to his throat trying to show he couldn't speak. Mine pulled a potion out of his back and had Steve drink it which made him scream as it burned his mouth from the spice.

"What was that!?! It burns! I need water!" Steve said, jumping up and taking Mines bag diving into it. Mine picked up the bag and shoved his hand into it groping around.

"Give me your hand Steve!" He yelled. Steve swam around as though he was in space.

"Water!!!!" He screamed, making his voice echo. He bolted over to one side and opened a water bottle gulping it down. Mine grabbed onto Steve's shirt color and pulled him out of the bag, both of them hitting either side of the room.

"Did you need it that bad? The drink only had 14 cups of cinnamon..." Steve sweat dropped.

"Wha...- Never mind, let's get to safety." Mine said running to the hallway. Steve slowly followed behind and walked into the room with the others. He glanced around at the worried faces barely recognizing some while others he had seen at school. Mine ran into the room behind him and slammed the door behind him pulling a string through the crack under the door.

"Everyone cover your ears... this is going to be LOUD!" Everyone did as they were told and Mine lit the string on fire. He ducked and pulled Steve down with him covering his ears. There was a moment of silence where the air stood still and no one moved a muscle. There was a slight hiss then a large explosion that could have shook the whole world. A burst of fire blew out from under the door and pieces of the prison erupted from the ground like a volcano. Rock and metal flew into the air above the town completely destroying the side of the town hall. A cloud of ash and dust covered the town blocking out the last remaining sunrays.

"That might have had a bit too much power..." Mine said, glancing back at Steve grinning. He rolled his eyes and tried pushing open the door, putting his hand through the metal collapsing the door and the wall surrounding it.

"Don't ask..." Mine said pushing past the astonished 8 year old walking into the massive creator.

"How much dynamite did you use!?!" Steve asked, trudging through the rubble behind Mine.

"Dynamite? No, that's too violent and unpredictable..." Steve shook his head in relief, kicking a chunk of rock out of his way.

"What did you use? This left a hole bigger than my house!" Mine looked back at him and kneeled in front of him to eye level.

"You are 8 years old... you don't need to be getting any ideas... plus it was only a couple million fireworks and 86 thousand tons of gunpowder. Let's get heading." Steve's jaw hit the ground as he watched Mine get up and start climbing out of the massive dent in the ground. Rocks fell from behind Mines feet, almost smacking Steve in the head.

"Would you climb a bit slower? I can't catch up!" Mine grabbed the dead grass to pull himself up and turned around helping Steve up. He ran to the center of town pulling Steve behind him. They ran behind a broken down ice-cream shop crouching down keeping quiet. A couple of guards walked down the street surrounding Snowy completely on full alert.

"Hey look, it's Snowy! Snowy! Ove- Hey!" Mine grabbed Steve and covered his mouth pulling him into the building.

"What was that sound?" A guard said pointing a crossbow around randomly.

"Guards! Go check for any stragglers in town. Any civilians must be killed on sight and if Steve or Mine are spotted they must be brought to me. Now GO!" Snowy said, pointing a staff into the air laughing out of character. The guards all nodded and split up all at once.

"What did you do that for?" Steve said getting out of Mine's grip. He pulled away trying to get his remote out of his pocket.

"Your sister is possessed by the most horrible entity in existence. Her name is Chari..." Steve's eyes shrunk in terror.

"I know who she is! She's from Rome 10,000 years ago used as a super weapon to take over the leaders of other colonies and destroy them from the inside out." Mine shushed him and nodded with disappointment.

"That's true. She can take over anyone that says her name three times within five minutes. Or get a hold on the death orb that was found in your sister's bag. That's why she passed out. It caused her to pass out as Chari took over her mind and changed her thoughts, not allowing her to fight back." He shook his head again and scanned the walls of the shop. His brain is going insane with too many thoughts to process.

"So my sister is being controlled by the most dangerous being in the universe and she can't do anything at all..." Mine nodded and put the remote to a certain setting then to his ear he turned it on listening.

"We need to get your sister free from all of this or Sunset and the whole world will be destroyed. The power crystals being pulled out of the ground are the only power support of life. They hold the atoms of this world together and without them a planet can't support life or even itself." Right as he finished the ground shook harder than before and a crumbling sound echoed through the empty village.

"How do we fix this... she's strong headed and with Chari in full control she most likely has control over that too." Mine stood up and began to do his usual pacing. Thoughts crossed his mind about everything that had happened during their adventure the day before this all happened.

"How did she get the orb?" Mine said to himself, pacing back and forth. Steve watched him smiling and thinking.

"She did wander off during the trip to look at a museum that stored a bunch of historical stuff from that time. So she might have gotten that from there." Mine's eyes lit up in excitement. He walked over to Steve and grabbed his head with both of his pointer fingers on his temples.

"Mine get your alien hands off my face..." Mine closed his eyes deep in thought.

"Steve, this is going to hurt and I'm sorry about this." Before Steve could open his mouth to speak, Mine smashed his head into Steves as hard as he could, knocking them both out cold.
