His feet were dragged along in front of him as he slowly opened his eyes. The back of his shoes heels were scraped up and grinding on the pavement while his arms ached from the constant attack from rocks flinging up behind him. He looked to his left and saw Mine being dragged next to him, who was staring off into space kind of smiling at the ungrateful sky.

"Isn't this just great? When being taken away by the Sunsettian army! Dragged along the ground like a sack of potatoes being ready to be fed to the pigs." Steve looked at Mine confused, getting smacked in the back of the head with another chunk of rock.

"How can you enjoy this? We are going to be killed!" Steve said, grabbing onto the back of the cart pulling himself up. Mine still looked at the dark grey sky whistling.

"What are you so happy about? Don't you know what death is?" Mine still ignored him and watched the acidic clouds fly above them. He looked at Steve and winked.

"Guard it hurts! Agh!!" Mine yelled, grabbing his knee and began thrashing on the ground like a fish. Steve glared unimpressed.

"I hate you..." Steve said, looking back at the guard knowing exactly what to do. He tapped the guard's shoulder and kicked Mine as hard as he could. Mine yelled louder pissing off the guard more.

"Oi! Pipe down back there!" A guard said, stopping the cart. Steve pulled at the harness almost moving the cart back but was stopped by a guard who unhooked him and threw him over his shoulder.

"Her majesty is looking for you. So if you want to stay alive then I would stop squirming." Steve looked to Mine for help but was completely ignored as he was taken away.

"What about the more important alien that lives FOREVER instead of an innocent 8 year old?" The guard shook his head and stuck duct tape over his mouth.

"We will get to him but it's more important for you to shut your trap. Her majesty doesn't need to hear any crap coming from you anyway." The guard walked through the rotting Thè forest ignoring Steve's whining and complaining under the mask of tape. They walked through the dead trees until they reached a clearing. The guard dropped Steve flat on the ground and started walking back. Mine was thrown beside him straight on his face causing him to lose his remote and a couple other items.

"That didn't go to plan..." Mine said, rubbing his head. Steve rolled his eyes and inspected the clearing. Trees were still falling apart around them and the grass was so flimsy he could step on it turning it to a powder instantly.

"The planet is at its last stages of life... almost all of the crystals have been removed. We only have an hour to fix this or we're going to have to learn to breathe in space!" Mine said, grabbing his belongings. The area was calm and windless, smelling of mold and rot. A bunch of guards surrounded the area and somewhere built some sort of structure in the center. Mine looked back noticing all of the smoke still coming from the village, still visible from however far away they were.

"We need to find a way out of here or we might die..." Steve said, walking towards the massive structure full of bustling guards. Then suddenly a noise came from the sky. A whining falling noise that sounded like a firework in reverse. Steve and Mine both looked up quickly ducking out of the way as something bolted at them like a bullet. Steve ran back to Mine and hid behind him. The object started burning as it fell faster and faster, finally crashing to the ground but not doing any damage. Snowy stood up from the burning pile of grass powder kicking up dust from behind her.

"I don't think you're going anywhere" She said in a creepy high pitched voice. Steve revolted and stumbled back. He started running towards the woods but was stopped by some guards.
