He pulled me back into him. "I'm not letting anything happen to you." He said, his nose almost touching my cheek. "I live here. What's gonna happen?" I laughed. "I might rape you." He smiled, pulling at one of my belt loops. "Oh no, that isn't possible." I said. "Are you saying you're willing?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. "READY, and willing." I smiled. "Oh. I need to get you to our hotel faster then!" He said, picking up his pace for a second. "Nah. I like walking slow. We get to talk longer." He smiled, pacing himself back by me. "Y'know... You're pretty interesting. You've lived on your own since you were fifteen, and you stayed in school. You must've worked quite a few jobs." He said. "Nope. I would go into a resteraunt down here, and I'd play guitar in the band every Tuesday night, and I'd play piano every other night. Giano's, man. Italiano." I smiled. "Really? So, music pretty much built you up? That's cool. I've heard of music saving lives, but never like that." He said. The song "On Top Of The World" by The Dead Rabbitts began playing out of nowhere. "Hold on, that's my phone," he explained. "Oh. I see." I said. He pulled his phone out of his vest pocket, and answered it. "Hello?" he said. "Yeah, dude I know. I'm sorry. I met a really awesome girl. I'm bringing her back to the room so you guys can meet her. Her name's Caitlin." There was a pause. TJ stopped in his tracks. "What? No, dude, I'm not taking her so we can fuck. I'm not--" Pause. "Okay, bro. I'm saying this once. This girl is amazing. I wanted to spend more time with her and--No, lemme finish. And it just so happens that the place we were at was closing, and I needed to go back to the room anyways." Another short pause. "Lay off dude. I don't always think with my dick." TJ snapped. He put his arm around me again, and started walking. "Kay. I'll see you in 10 minutes. I can see the hotel lights. Alright, bye." he said, putting his phone back in his pocket. "Craig is such a prick." He said. "He doesn't want me to come back with you, does he?" "No, but he can suck a cat's dick. I'm not letting you walk home in the dark." "It's fine. I know my way around here. I'll go home." I said, pulling his arm from around me. "Nooo, no, no, no. Caitlin." He said, walking after me. I sped up. "No, it's okay! Don't mind him. He thinks he's the boss 'cause he's the singer. He's not. Babe, please. C'mon!" He kept going. I stopped. "I don't want him to bitch at you." "Trust me, if he sees how gorgeous you are, and how amazing you are, he'll get mad if you try to leave." He smiled. I thought for a second. "Fine. Let's go." I smiled. "Alright!" He said, linking arms with me, and reaching around my waist again. I put my arm across his back, and clutched onto his vest. "So, Caity, do you like Papa Roach?" "Yes!! I loove Papa Roach! I've been wanting to see them live since I was 8!" I exclaimed. "Alright, sweet. I like you more and more as I spend more time with you." "Trust me, you won't think that for long. I have anxiety, I have a short temper, aandd.... I'm just... I dunno." "Beautiful? Amazing? Awesome? Gorgeous? Should I keep going?" "That won't be neccesary." "Alright. We're here." He said, opening the hotel door. "Oh, wow." I said, taking in the lobby. "I'm on the third floor." He said. "Alright." "Elevator or stairs?" He asked. "If we go up the stairs, you have to carry me." I said. "Okay. He said, picking me up, and putting me on his back. "I was kidding." I said. "Let's go." He said, opening the door to the staircase. He began walking up the steps. He was up them very fast. I hopped down from his back, and he knocked on a door loudly. Craig opened it up. "TJ, my god, this girl better be-- Hot." He said, stopping as his eyes met mine. "Hi, I'm Caity." I said, waving slightly. "Hey I'm... Uhm." He trailed off. "I know who you are, haha" I smiled. "Guys. Come here." Craig said. Robert, Monte, and Mike all rushed up behind Craig. "Woah, hello, beautiful." Mike said. "Hey, kid." Robert said, then backed up. Monte didn't say anything. He just looked at me. "Hi, Monte." "Oh, uh.. H-hi." He said, shaking his head. "Sorry, I got distracted by how pretty you are, say, are you single?" "HEY." TJ said. "Oh, sorry, dude." Monte said, his eyes darting over to TJ. I smiled. "Yes, Monte. I am. And it's gonna take a miracle to change that." I said. "Well, call me a God then." He smiled. TJ pulled me closer. I could already tell that tonight was gonna be very... Interesting.
