Mike replied quickly. 'yeah okay. see ya at 8 babe' I didn't reply after that. I looked at TJ. "So, where are these goats?" I tried to smile. He shrugged. "I dunno. I just wanted to get you alone. You and I haven't hung out in a while." He said. I laughed nervously. "Hah, yeah." I said, looking down to my feet. "Wanna go somewhere else?" He asked, lifting my chin back up. Something about him seemed different. He was being sweeter than usual. Then again, he was always like this when it was just us. "Sure." I said, nodding slightly. He wrapped an arm around my waist and I put my head on his shoulder. "Where to?" He asked, kissing the top of my head. "Anywhere but home." I said, frowning. He hugged me closer. "I'm sorry." He said once more then he pulled me into a tight hug. I hugged back, feeling a little better. He released me slightly. "So, do you really like Michael?" He asked quietly. I shrugged. "He's nice." I stated the obvious. "And awkward as fuck." TJ chuckled. I smiled small and agreed. He hugged me once more. "Wanna go see a movie? I'll let Craig know what we're doing." He smiled sweetly. "Sounds perfect, Teej." I smiled. "There's that pretty smile." He smiled widely, chuckling and poking my cheek. I quickly forced a frown. "Aw, where'd it go?" He frowned. "It disappeared." I said. "Let's go, babe." He said. I wasn't gonna say anything about him calling me babe. I simply grinned and walked with him.
