Mike was a great guy. I honestly liked him the most out of everybody. He didn't get mad at me for silly things, he didn't worry about me doing anything behind his back, and he was supportive.
"So, do you still want to go out?" He asked. I thought for a moment. I shook my head. "I'd rather stay here." I said. "We can do that, if you want!" He said, kissing my cheek carefully. I smiled and cuddled close to him. I ended the action with a yawn. "Tired?" He asked. "Yeah, kinda." I mumbled, as I snuggled into his chest.
I allowed myself to inhale the scent that he put off. He smelled amazing, like a chocolate frappucino and the seaside. He smelled the way adrenaline felt.
I felt his arms wrap around my waist, and the blankets being pulled further over us. I listened to his heart beat and found comfort in it. "I could really get used to having your scent burned into my lungs", I said. He chuckled. "I could get used to cuddling with such a beautiful girl as yourself. I feel lucky." He said. "I'm the lucky one," I said quietly, my mind traveling to Monte. I went back to Michael quickly, bringing my hand up to his chest and tracing shapes with my fingers.
We laid there in a long silence before he spoke again. "I would be so much better for you thany brother is." He said. It wad the truth.
