The bell rang, signalling the start of morning classses. The once noisy hallways now became pindrop silent for all the students had rushed to their respective classrooms. Soon afterwards, bold footsteps headed towards Ryujin's classroom were heard, and just behind it followed shy, timid steps like those of a toddler.
The teacher stepped into the classroom and was immediately greeted by, well, a mix of lazy and enthusiastic good mornings. Once she motioned them to take their seats, she welcomed the new student who was trudging behind her all this while.
She began her self introduction at the teacher's behest. "My name is Hwang Yeji. I have transferred here due to my parents job. Looking forward to knowing you all. Thank you! " she shyly yet cheerfully spoke. After a round of applause to welcome the new student, the teacher showed her two empty seats and allowed her to choose her seat.
At the very end of the class there sat Shin Ryujin. Sleeves rolled, shirt unbuttoned and hair dyed blond. Her appearance screamed terror and of course what scared Yeji the most was the death glare she sent her. Little did she know that that's just how she normally looks at strangers. And of course for "safety" purposes, yeji chose to sit at the front spare seat not only because she was a little two goody shoes but because Somi, her new seatmate, who sat in the front seat seemed more welcoming and amiable.
Step one : self introduction accomplished. Now all that was left is to avoid getting in trouble with the troublemakers.
