"Why are you back?" Lia scolded Lino.
"Let's party together!" Han cheered loudly as he ran to give a backhug to Chaeryeong who was sitting on the carpet. "Did you miss me?" He gave her a peck on the cheek before she turned to hug him properly.
"Mnh." She nodded.
Almost immediately after, Seungmin knocked the door politely, it was his first time visiting Lia's apartment even though they lived in the same condominium.
"Did you bring food?" Han threw a pillow at the poor Seungmin who walked in like a terrified puppy.
"I didn't know I was supposed to..." Embarrassed, Seungmin dragged his feet to sit on the couch beside Minho.
A bulb lit on Han's head which prompted him to make a call.
"Food is arranged!" Han clasped his hands in success.
"But we already bought some..." Ryujin's head turned quickly.
"That's not enough... I haven't had dinner yet." Minho spoke between the bites of pizza.
"So what are we watching?" Han queried as he plopped his mass on the couch beside Minho. Chaeryeong followed suit and so now four of them sat on the couch.
"There's nothing interesting to watch!" Lia exclaimed after a while of scrolling through Netflix.
"Let's watch horror..." Seungmin's suggestion is immediately shut down by reluctant murmurs from the girls. Only Ryujin shared the opinion with him. Its not like she wasn't scared, she just enjoyed being scared.
"I'll make sure to call you over if I ever plan a horror movie streaming night, you will come right?" With a friendly fistbump pointed at Seungmin, Ryujin managed to earn a smile from him, in an earnest attempt to make him feel included.
"I didn't know you liked horror movies too." Now relaxed, Seungmin managed to continue the conversation.
"I do. I used to watch them with Chan all the time when we were young, but he's been too busy since he became the school president." Ryujin rolled her eyes dramatically, displaying both annoyance and a dont-care attitude.
"There she goes again... are there any of your experiences that aren't related to Bangchan?" Chaeryeong pointed out accusingly as if doubting their relationship.
"Shut up. He's my bestfriend." Ryujin shook her head at Chaeryeong's plausible insinuation.
"Well, Bangchan is so nice that you can't even tell who he actually likes." Chaeryeong's long arm reached for a slice of pizza on the table as she commented.
"This dude right here too...." Han added as he patted Seungmin's shoulder. "It's not even about him being nice, he just seems too... I don't know, secretive?"
"Right. Go on. Tell us who your crush is." Minho evily urges from the side as he often quite relished the sight of an embarrassed Seungmin.
"I don't really have one. Not right now." With a voice deep yet calm, Seungmin blurted nonchalantly killing all the suspense.
"Then how about this? Have you ever had a crush on someone we know?" Han asked curiously. When will they ever be able to peek into Seungmin's personal life again.
"Uhmm... yes?" He admitted timidly.
"Guys stop bothering him." Lia slapped Chaeryeong's legs even though she wasn't the one who asked the question.
Seungmin simply laughed.
"Wait, you know who it is?" Lia averted her gaze as Chaeryeong inquired, she subconciously slid off the couch. Doomed be Chaeryeong's innate ability of catching on things faster than necessary. Lia could only curse mentally.
