CHAPTER 1

MY NAME is Althea Diaz, I am 27 years old.

I came here to find a job and to see Simon Marcos.

OMG. Kung pwede lang 'yan ang sasabihin ko sa interviewer.

Nandito na ako sa Mandaluyong ngayon. I specifically choose BBM's Headquarters para mag-apply ng trabaho.

Kaya noong nalaman ko na hiring sila as Social Media Manager.

I like to work in Public Service. Pero mas gusto ko si Simon.

Your Willow man is a tall, slender and graceful man. It is said that malalaman mo na ang isang lalaki ang willow man mo kapag you see him in a slow motion but your heart will beat so fast.

It will feel like kayo lang dalawa ang nasa mundo.

Kaya nang makita ko for the first time si Simon ng pumunta siya ng Davao City.

He moved in a slow motion in front of me. May mga glitters and sparkles na lumabas as I looked at him.

Alam ko talaga that he is my willow man.

"Okay... next... Ms. Diaz?" The interviewer said.

Tumayo naman ako agad.

Pumasok kami sa isang maliit lang na office.

"You may take a seat, Ms. Diaz." She said.

She's young tingnan. Maganda din.

Umupo naman ako.

"So my name is Lily Cuesta. I am gonna be your interviewer."

Nagshakehands naman kami.

"Good morning, Ma'am." I said.

"So please tell me something about yourself, Ms. Diaz."

I cleared my throat muna.

I am prepared for this.

"Hello, Ma'am. My name is Althea Diaz, I am 27 years old and I finished my Bachelor's degree in Public Relations last 2014."

I finished with Latin Honors and I worked at the PAO region 11 for 7 years."

Tuloy-tuloy akong nagsalita.

"So what made you decide to have a change career?" She asked.

Because of love.

Charot lang.

Bigla naman nagsilabasan ang mga employee sa labas.

I tried to take a peek. Baka si Simon 'yon.

May nakita akong buhok lang.

It looks like si Simon nga.

Kailangan ko galingan para araw-araw ko syang makita.

"I believed that public service is a wide range opportunity to help other people in any way that we can. If I become the Social Media Manager of Sir BongBong Marcos, I will make sure that all the help that I, he and us can give to the people will always be truthful and honest."

I don't know if I made sense to her pero sana na impress siya sa straight english ko.

She nodded.

Looks like na-impress talaga siya.

Our interview lasted for about an hour.

"Okay. Thank you, Ms. Diaz, I will personally recommend you to Sir BBM."

She said as she shook my hand.

"Really, Ma'am? Wow. Thank you so much po."

Gustong-gusto ko na sumigaw sa excitement kaso bago magbago ang isip niya.

Tiisin mo Althea.

"Yes. You have a very impressive credentials. I can see how well you managed your social media accounts din."

Luh. Na-check na agad.

"We will call you in a couple of days for the final decision but congratulations in advance."

Aggggh, gusto ko ng lumundag sa kilig.

"Thank you so much, Ma'am."

Nang makalabas ako.

Agad ako pumunta sa CR ng pambabae, gusto ko na talaga sumayaw at sumigaw sa kilig.

Kaso ang daming tao, buti na lang may stairs sa gilid at umakyat ako papuntang rooftop kaso close kaya sa may pintuan na lang ako banda.

I closed the door a little bit para sumigaw.

"AAAAAAAGGGGH!!!"

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!"

"THANK YOU TALA---AGGGGH!"

Naputol naman yung moment ko ng may napansin akong shadow

Luh may multo.

"Sino 'yan?" I asked bravely. Char

Gumalaw naman ito, agad akong tumakbo pabalik sa door para makalabas ng may nakabangga ako.

Nahulog ako ng tatlong steps sa hagdan at natumba din siya.

Nabangga yata ako sa noo niya.

"OUCHHH!" He shouted.

Ako na nga 'tong nahulog sa hagdan siya pa OA.

Sino ba 'to?

Dahan-dahan akong tumayo kahit parang na-sprain 'yong paa ko.

"Sino ka?"

I tried na tingnan 'yong mukha niya.

He was wearing a red polo shirt and a black jacket.

Nanlaki ang mga mata ko when I realized who it was.

"Sandro Marcos?"

He looked at me while he was rubbing his forehead.

"Who are you?"

"And paano ka nakapasok dito?"

Nakakunot ang mga noo niya.

Malamang sa pintuan.

Duh.

Pogi nga pero medyo slow naman.

Dejoke lang.

"Hello? Bingi ka ba or are you a mute?"

Luh.

Grabe siya.

He was waving his hand on my face.

Natulala naman ako sa kapogian niya.

Pero no Althea! si Simon ang mahal mo!
