3 MONTHS AGO...
"DIANE? WHO is this guy?" I asked Diane habang sinamahan ko sya magpa-checkup dito sa ospital.
Nagreklamo sya sa akin na masakit ang tiyan niya and she was already 7 months na.
Tatlong araw na simula ng umalis si Althea at si Alex.
Nagalit din ako sa kanya, she didn't gave me a chance to talk and to explain myself.
She just let go without even listening to my side.
When she decided to cancel the wedding, I thought galit lang sya but when she gave me back the ring, doon sumama ang loob ko.
Ganun lang ba talaga kadali para sa kanya ang bumitaw?
"Uh.. he is just a friend." Diane answered.
"Tara na?" She asked me at pinilit akong umalis na ng hospital.
I must admit, gumaan ang loob ko kay Diane.
She made me feel happy during the journey of her pregnancy.
Na-experience ko ang morning sickness nya, ang mga cravings nya, ang first kick ng bata.
It was so amazing that I forgot na may anak na pala ako.
I was blinded by the thought of having to experience being a first time dad which I never got to do kay Alex.
Diane is a good person, she really is kaya siguro gumaan ang loob ko sa kanya ulit.
I don't know if you call it "love" but what I felt for Diane couldn't be compare to what I feel for Althea.
Althea is the love of my life.
She is my person.
Diane and I never really got together, hindi naging kami, we became close to the point na parang naging kami.
Syempre I thought she was carrying my child but turns out she wasn't.
"Sino ka ba?" I asked the nurse na kasama ni Diane kanina sa hospital.
They seemed so close kaya hindi ako mapakali at binalikan ko talaga sya.
Nasa loob kami ng office ng chief of the hospital at kinausap ko sya in private.
Hindi dahil sa nagseselos ako kundi dahil I know deep inside may itinatago si Diane.
"I'm just a nurse sir, na kaibigan ni Di--"
"Lie to me. I dare you." I warned him.
Natameme naman sya.
"Now tell me the truth... sino ka ba?"
"I'm so sorry congressman... it was all Diane" He knelt down in front of me.
FCK!
"Ako po yung totoong ama ng dinadala nya... she just made do it-- hindi po ako nag-iisip ng maayos noon po... natakot lang talaga ako--"
I grabbed him by his collar.
"PINA-AKO NYO SA AKIN YUNG RESPONSIBILIDAD NA HINDI NAMAN DAPAT PARA SA AKIN?!" I was so furious.
"I'm so sorry sir... patawarin nyo ako"
He was pleading.
Binitawan ko naman sya agad at itinulak.
Galit na galit ako sa kanya at kay Diane.

"I will let you off the hook if you will never tell her na alam ko na ang totoo." I commanded him.
