"WE'RE HOME!" Vinny shouted ng makapasok kami sa bahay nila.
"Hi!" Lumapit naman kami agad kay Mam Liza na galing sa kusina.
"Hi po" Nagbeso naman kaming dalawa.
"Hello Althea, kamusta ka?" She asked.
"Okay lang po ako, kayo po? Nasubukan nyo na po yung mga luto na itinuro ko sa inyo?"
"Yeah, actually ang dali lang pala magluto ng adobo" She whispered.
Nag-ngitian naman kami.
"Where's Sandro by the way?" Bigla nya naman akong tinanong.
"Nasa kapitolyo pa sya mom" Si Vinny naman ang sumagot.
Nakaupo ito sa may sofa and nanonood na ng tv.
"Oh I thought magkasabay na kayo. Anyways, he's gonna introduce his girlfriend daw" She sounds so excited.
Nagkatinginan naman kami ni Vinny.
Jusko baka ma-disappoint sya kapag malaman nya ang totoo.
"Come on Althea, help me sa kitchen" Sinundan ko naman agad sya.
Nakapagluto na sya ng chicken adobo and pancit.
"I'm cooking sinigang, Sandro's favorite. I hope his girlfriend will like this too." She said as she tasted it.
Kumuha din siya ng konti at pinatikim sa akin.
"How is it?" She asked.
Masyadong maasim.
Di ko naman mapigilin yung itsura ko na mangasim.
"Oh no... is it too sour?" She asked with concern.
I nodded.
Bigla naman syang nalungkot.
"Oh no mam, madali lang toh ayusin, you should add 1 teaspoonful of baking soda if nasobraan yung asim ng sinigang"
I went to the kitchen cabinet at kumuha ng baking soda.
I added it sa niluluto nya.
"Don't worry mam, nagkakamali din ako minsan sa pagluluto" I gave her an assuring smile.
"Thank you so much Althea, for teaching me how to cook.
Niyakap nya naman ako ng konti.
Dinner time na nga dumating si BBM and Sandro.
"Hi hon" Sir BBM said habang hinalikan si Mam Liza sa pisngi.
Nagkatinginan naman kami ni Sandro and he gazed at me.
Kinikilig talaga ako kapag tinititigan nya ako.
Oh gosh.
Jowa ko si Sandro.
I was helping her sa pag-aayos ng dining table.
"Oh. Sandro.. I thought you're bringing your girlfriend to introduce to us? "
"Uh.. yeah..I am going to introduce her to you guys" He said as he walked towards me.
Kinakabahan na ako sa magiging reaksyon nila.
No! Ayoko sa kanya. Hindi sya bagay para sayo. Langit ka at lupa ang babaeng yan. Hiwalayan mo na yan ngayon din!
Thoughts like that kept on running in my mind.
They looked confused naman kung bakit sa akin sya lumapit.
Inakbayan naman ako ni Sandro and both of them were stunned.
"Mom... Pops... this is Althea... my girlfriend" He said.
I smiled at them.
Hoping na hindi nila ako palayasin.
"She is... your girlfriend?" Mam Liza said.
She looked at me.
"Oh thanked God" She said at niyakap ako.
"I'm so happy ikaw ang girlfriend ni Sandro" She
whispered.
Lumapit din sa akin si sir BBM.
"Hello iha, it's nice to officially meet you. As Sandro's girlfriend."
He smiled at me.
"Thank you po"
"Liza and I are relieved that you are his girlfriend" He added.
Kumunot naman ang noo ni Sandro.
"What does that mean?" He protested.
"Because all your exes sucked!" Vinny said as he took a seat sa dining table.
"Yeah son.. they all are" Sir BBM said at nag-agree naman si Mam Liza.
"Okay. I find that offensive" He said and tiningnan ko naman sya ng masama.
"Because it's true and now I am lucky cause I have you!" He leaned over to kiss me sa noo.
I just rolled my eyes at him.
"What's going on here?" Simon asked.
Umuwi din pala sya ng Ilocos.
He looked confused.
Hindi nya pa pala alam.
"Sandro and Althea are dating, he introduced her to the parents and all of Sandro's ex sucked and now it's dinner time"
Si Vinny na ang sumagot.

Hinampas naman sya ng slight ni tita Liza. Umupo na kami sa dining table.
"Umupo ka na Simon" Sir BBM said.
Nakatayo pa rin sya sa may pintuan banda.

He gave us a faint smile as we proceeded in eating dinner.
After dinner, dumiritso ako sa may garden banda to talk to my family sa probinsya. They are asking me to go home kasi malapit na ang birthday ko.
Nasa balcony na ako ng lumapit sa akin si Simon.
"So you and Sandro huh?" He said.
"Yeah.. we both didn't expected it." Ngumiti naman ako sa kanya.
"Hmmm. None of us did" He was serious.
Nagtaka naman ako.
"Are you okay?" I asked him habang hinawakan ang braso nya out of concern.
He looked at me.
"I liked you Althea." He said.
And I was left stunned.
