CHAPTER 33

"EXCUSE ME?" I asked her.

Ito na naman ang Janea na to.

She chuckled before answering me.

"I mean... not yet" She was flirtatious.

Tiningnan ko naman ng masama si Sandro which confused him.

"What?" He asked.

Kakatapos nya lang din kausapin yung katawag nya.

I cleared my throat.

"Looks like he just finished his other call. I will give the phone to him right now mam" I said.

Ini-abot ko naman ito sa kanya.

"Who's this?" He asked with an innocent look.

"Ms. Janea. YOUR GIRLFRIEND" I empasized the word girlfriend sa kanya.

He was shocked.

Agad ko naman syang tinalikuran at lumabas na ng office nya.

"No..wait..Althea!"He shouted.

Ah Althea lang tawag mo sa akin ha.

Balakajan.

Pumunta naman ako sa may balcony malapit sa pantry para magpahangin.

"I'm Janea, his girlfriend nye nye nye" I was mocking her.

Nakakainis.

Pero kung iisipin ko, iba talaga si Janea eh.

She's sexy, she has tanned skin at career oriented pa.

Samantalang ako maganda lang.

I felt a hand running to my arm and he gently kissed my neck.

"Darling..." He whispered as he embraced me.

I pouted naman.

Pero deep inside nakukuryente na ako sa kilig.

"Don't be mad na, you met Janea before.. you've seen how she can be"

"Eh bakit naman nag-aassume pa yun na may chance pa kayong magkabalikan?"

I asked him.

"She pops in and out of my life before darling... when it's convenient for her" He explained.

"And you allowed her?" Tumaas naman ang kilay ko.

"Before... but now I can no longer imagine anyone else darling... only you" He said as he leaned over to kiss me.

"Hmm. Pero ano ba ang kailangan nya?"

"Why does she keeps calling you?"

"I don't know... and I don't care darling... I promise you... I will not allow her to come back into my life.. into our lives. She doesn't matter anymore. " He said.

Napangiti naman ako.

"I love you..." He whispered.

"I love you too darling" I answered.

"Let's go inside na?" Pagharap namin sa pintuan, Janea was there.

"What the hell?!" She shouted.

"Janea? What are you doing here?" Sandro asked her.

Bigla nya naman binitawan ang kamay ko.

"The reason you rejected me is because of that woman?" She said habang nakahawak sa beywang nya.

"Janea...can you please just don't make a scene in here?" Sandro was trying to calm her.

I was confused, akala ko ba she doesn't matter. Anong nangyayari?.

She suddenly smirked.

"You're replacing me with this lowclass bitch?" She was glaring at me from head to foot.

Medyo na offend ako dun ah

Syempre di ako magpapatalo.

Inirapan ko naman sya.

"Ito ba talaga yung mga type mo Sandro? A mediocre basic bitch. What a downgrade Sandro" She was smirking again.

"You have no right to call my girlfriend like that" Sandro said with a straight face.

Hinawakan nya ulit ang mga kamay ko.

Yan ganyan. Hawakan mo ulit.

Natahimik naman si Janea.

"She is my girlfriend now Janea. Deal with it" Sandro continued.

Pumasok naman kami sa loob and we walked pass by her.

She suddenly grabbed Sandro's arm.

"You will regret this Sandro. Choosing that woman over me." She was threatening him while glaring at me.

"No.. I don't think I will" He brushes Janea's hand off of him and nagpatuloy kami sa paglalakad.

"Before I forgot.. you said na type ko yung mga mediocre basic bitch... remember I dated you."

She was stunned.

Hindi nya ini-expect yung sinabi ni Sandro.

"Oh..and one more thing Janea.. She is loyal, honest, sweet and one of a kind. And much more beautiful than any woman I ever dated, she is definitely an upgrade for me".

Nagpatuloy naman kami sa paglalakad pabalik ng office nya.

Aaminin ko, medyo nanginginig ako doon ah.

After work naman, we had dinner and hinatid na ako ni Sandro sa apartment namin ni Anna.

"Oh...kamusta ang date nyo cuz?" She asked me habang nagbabasa ng paper works.

"It's fine cuz.." Matamlay kong sagot.

"Are you okay? Sino pala yung babaeng pumunta sa office kanina?" She asked me.

"Ex ni Sandro." I answered her.

"Talaga ba? Ano? Inaway ka ba? Sabihin mo sa akin ha if inaaway ka ng babaeng yun" She said.

Nilapitan ko naman sya at niyakap.

"Thanks cuz." I whispered.

I am happy kasi napaka-supportive talaga ng pinsan ko sa akin.

She's like my bestfriend.

"Oo nga pala, anong plano mo bukas cuz? It's your birthday na" She said.

I gave her a soft growl.

Nakahiga na ako sa bed ko.

I feel so tired.

"I don't know cuz..." I whispered.

"Alam na ba nila Sandro na birthday mo bukas?"

I nodded no.

"Hay naku, we should celebrate. Ano bang gusto mong gawin?"

"Matulog cuz, I just want to sleep" I answered.

Hindi ko naman namalayan na nakatulog na ako.
