CHAPTER 82

Althea's POV:

"SHHHHH" I heard Sandro shushing someone. I opened my eyes and Vinny, tita Liza and Alex was standing in front of us habang kami ni Sandro nakahiga pa rin sa sofa.

"What is happening?" Tita Liza asked pero halata sa mga mata nya ang tuwa.

"Mommy!"

"Daddy!" Alex jumped in to join us at niyakap naman sya ni Sandro.

"Hi baby" Tuwang tuwa ang dalawa.

I immediately stood up and fixed myself.

"What happened here?" Vinny asked habang nakataas ang isang kilay.

"Wala... um... nalasing kasi si Sandro and then..."

"Nalasing sya pero natulog kayong magkayakap?" Tita Liza asked.

Halatang kinikilig sya.

"Uh... we just-- had a moment" Sandro said habang nakangiti sa akin.

"Hmmm daddy you smell bad" Alex said habang sinisinghot ang tatay niya.

"I do not!" Kiniliti naman ni Sandro si Alex and they both laughed.

"Good Morning" Ravi said habang may dalang kape and bread.

He was standing by the door.

Gavin was giving me a confused smile.

"Hi.. good morning." I said at lumapit sa kanya.

"Ang aga mo today.." I told him.

"Uh.. yeah.. I thought you were gonna be alone.." He said then handed me the coffee.

"For you..." He said.

I was about to accept it when Sandro took it..

"Thanks dude. I need coffee now." He said habang iniinom ang kape.

I saw how annoyed Ravi was by him.

Napayuko na lang ako.

"Hi Ravi! Good it's nice to see you.." Tita Liza greeted him.

"Oh hi mam Liza.. how are you ang ganda nyo today" He greeted her back.

Si Sandro naman ang nairita at bumalik sa pagkakaupo.

"Come on in iho, magluluto ako ng breakfast... you should join us." Tita Liza said.

"Uh.. I'd loved to tita kaso may trabaho pa po ako.."

"Maybe next time." He respectfully decline.

"Oh no worried iho... maybe next time.."

"Sige po... I'll go ahead..." Ravi was about to leave.

I looked at Sandro who was glaring at me.

"Sasamahan na kita sa sasakyan mo." I told him and he nodded.

Tahimik kaming naglakad dalawa.

"Althea.. did Sandro spent the night here?" Ravi asked.

I can see that nagseselos sya.

"Um.. yeah.. I found him passed out sa labas ng pintuan ko... I just couldn't pushed him away." I said.

"Ah..."

"Yeah..."

Di ko naman alam anong sasabihin ko.

It was so awkward for the both of us.

"Umm... my cousin is having her engagement party this weekend..would it be okay if I ask to come with me?"

He changed the topic.

"Umm... like I'm your date?" I asked him

He smiled at me and nakalabas na naman ang dimples nya.

Pero I can see in his eyes how sad he was.

"Yeah.. something like that." He grinned at me.

"Umm.. yeah... of course, pagkakaalam ko until sunday pa naman sila tita Liza dito" I said.

Napangiti naman sya.

"Alright... I'll see you then." He said, hinalikan nya naman ako sa kamay bago pumasok ng sasakyan nya.

"Bye!" I waved goodbye.

Ravi is a really great guy.

Hindi sya mahirap mahalin.

"That Ravi like you, doesn't he?" Nagulat naman ako dahil biglang sumulpot si Vinny sa likod ko.

"Vinny!" Nahampas ko naman sya sa braso.

"Whaaat?" He was chuckling.

Pareho kaming natawa dalawa.

"Pareho talaga kayo ng kuya mo. Bigla bigla na lang sumusulpot" I told him.

"Pero seryoso..that guy really like you."

"I can see it in his eyes."

"Um.. yeah.. he told me.."

I answered.

"Hmmm. do you like him too?" Natanong nya naman bigla.

I looked at him.

Hindi ko din alam if may nararamdaman na ba talaga ako kay Ravi.

"Don't worry about it Althea.. you should always choose yours and Alex's happiness. Either way, you'll always be a part of our family."

He said habang inaakbayan ako.

I love Vinny, he is like a real brother to me.

Later that afternoon, pinasyal naman namin si Alex sa tagaytay.

First time ko din makapunta dito kaya medyo na-excite ako.

Nasa iisang sasakyan lang kami.

I was sitting next to tita Liza and Vinny, Alex and Sandro was behind us.

Sandro was playing with Alex but he wasn't really talking or looking at me.

Bahala sya dyan.

Di din kita papansinin.

Ano ka gold?

Luh.

Pagdating namin doon, dumiritso kami sa Nurture Wellness Village, we will spend the night here.

Alex was so excited na nadapa sya kakatakbo.

I ran towards him dahil umiiyak na ito when Sandro and I bumped into each other.

I fell down but he fell down with me.

I noticed na nakayakap sya sa akin like he was protecting me from getting hurt.

We looked into each other's eyes.

No...

We gazed into each other's eyes.

Nararamdaman ko na naman yung mga butterflies sa tiyan ko.

Nabubuhay na sila ulit.

OMG.

Nagso-slowmo na naman ang paligid and I can hear my own heart beating.

"Oh Alex.. come to here... ako na bahala sayo..." Vinny said habang kinakarga si Alex.

Pareho naman kaming natauhan ni Sandro and we stood up.

Agad naman akong lumapit sa kanila para icheck si Alex.

He stopped from crying na din and konting gasgas lang sa tuhod.

"Nadapa ka na at lahat-lahat, naglalandian pa rin yung mga magulang mo" Vinny whispered.

Hinampas ko naman sya.

I looked back and Sandro was staring at me.

Gusto ko syang lapitan.

Gusto ko syang balikan but my own mind is stopping me.

Natatakot na akong masaktan ng paulit-ulit ni Sandro.
