The doctor's appointment - 1

When Izuku woke up that morning he had no way of knowing what would soon change his life forever. He knew he was going to the doctor to discover his quirk but everyone had a quirk so it couldn't be too bad. He had struggled to sleep all night and was currently waiting in bed for his mother to call him downstairs.

   "Izuku honey! Are you up yet? We need to leave for the doctor soon!" His mother called as she grabbed her keys and purse. "I'm up mama! I'm up!" He said while bounding down the stairs to quickly eat breakfast, get dressed and ready to go. "Once we find out your quirk, we can call your father tonight to surprise him with the good news! And slow down sweetheart! I don't want you to choke on your food!" Izuku pouted for a sec with his lower lip but did as his mother said. Soon it was time to go!

The green haired duo hopped into Inko's car and before Izuku knew it, a doctor was calling their name. "Midoriya? Midoriya, Izuku?" He bounced out of his seat but patiently waited for his mother and switched to bouncing up and down in place. Several others waiting smiled fondly at the child's energy and wished him good luck. He happily thanked them and his mother grabbed his hand to prevent him from running too far ahead.

The doctor and nurse went through the usual procedures taking height and weight, asking a few questions about strange behavior that could be related to a quirk, recent family member's quirks, and the x-ray. Izuku and his mom were then led into a room and the nurse walked back in with a needle in hand. "Ok little man, I need you to be real brave for me real quick ok? You will barely feel the needle but we need some blood to test your quirk." Izuku was quick to answer, "I wanna be a hero when I grow up so I'll be real brave." He made an adorable determined face and squinted his eyes shut. The nurse and Inko smiled at him as the nurse quickly counted to three before drawing the blood. "There! All done, you will make a very brave hero in the future." She placed an All Might bandaid on his arm as she said this and informed them the results should be completed in a few minutes.

Just as the nurse said, only a few minutes later, did the doctor walk in. He held a clip board in his hands with a bald head, big goggles over his eyes, and bushy grey mustache. The man gave them a smile as he sat down and began to tell them the result. "Izuku here has a very unique quirk. It's unlike anything we've ever seen before. Mrs.Midoriya your quirk is telekinesis correct?" Mama Midoriya smiled kindly at the man but with worry hidden behind her eyes, "Yes doctor it is... Why do you ask? Is Izuku's quirk okay? Will it hurt him!?" She grew more and more nervous as she spouted out more questions before the doctor cut her off. "No! No! Oh All Might no! Izuku will be just fine. All I meant was that Izuku has a mental quirk and Telekinesis is also a type of mental quirk and not many of those have developed just yet."

Inko let out a long sigh of relief as she ran her hand through Izuku's bush of hair as the doctor continues. "Both you and Izuku have mental quirks while your husband has an elemental quirk with fire. Izuku has the ability to create a world in his mind unseen by anyone but him. He also can control time to a certain extent and will possibly develop a physical change by growing wings most likely as a crow or raven are often associated with time." "Thank you doctor! Are their any side effects we should worry about? Will the wings developing hurt my baby?" "The only possible side effect for Izuku is that the world created in his mind may cause him to withdraw from others a bit and changing time too much could leave him tired. As for the wings, they shouldn't hurt but if they do just give him some pain medicine and have him sleep it away. Have a good day Midoriya family."

Izuku squeals with joy, swinging his legs back in forth on the table and gives his mom a blinding worthy smile. His excitement lights up the whole room and as they exit the hospital, he makes the mood lift as many smile as he is practically glowing. Mama Midoriya cooks him up his favorite meal of katsudon when they get home as a bribe to wait until tomorrow to tell His kacchan the great news. With a quick call to Hisashi Midoriya, they let him know a simplified version of his quirk before Izuku practically has to be carried to bed after exhausted from such a long and exciting day. His father was quite excited about his son's quirk but for his mother, all she felt was worry.
