Selene opened her door and walked in, kicking off her shoes. "It's probably my fault." Her thoughts went right back to Pietro. "What did I do though?"

Selene sat on her bed and laid back as a knock sounded from her door. She ignored it, hoping they'd go away. "Selene?" They knocked again.

"I really don't want to see anyone right now."

"Well, it's a good thing we aren't just anyone."

Selene's door opened and three people entered her room. She groaned and rolled over to face away from them. "Please just g-go away."

"Why are you crying?" Wanda came over and sat beside her.

"I'm not cry--" Selene reached up to touch her face, but it felt wet.

"Why are you crying, Selene?" Wanda repeated her question.

"I don't know."

~Selene~
"Why don't you tell us about your walk and we can go from there. Yeah?" Pepper smiled gently at me.

"Okay, will you girls stay here tonight?" As soon as they each nodded, I snapped my fingers and I was in my pajamas.

I scooted over, and the other girls got comfortable. (It's a good thing my bed is huge. I think it's called a California King.)

"How was your walk?"

"We walked through the park. It was nice and I had fun. I was enjoying myself, until we arrived at said park."

"What happened?" I sighed and shook my head.

"I don't know. I told him what dathúil meant and he asked what we were."

Wanda wiped the tears from my face. "What does dathúil mean?"

"It's used for a few different things but essentially, it adds up to handsome."

"Was he happy to finally know?" Natasha sat up.

Selene nodded and sat up as well. She wanted to see them all. "He said he was, that's when he asked what we were."

"What did you tell him?" Pepper propped her head up.

"I said, 'We're friends, right?' He said 'Yeah, we're friends. But is that all? Do you feel anything when you see me?' Did I do something wrong? Does he not see us as friends?"

Selene knew she was crying this time and Wanda gently wiped her face. "Did you tell him you feel happy?"

"Yes. I feel other things too, I just didn't tell him that part."

"What do you mean?"

"When I see him my chest hurts and I worry about everything I do or don't do. Then my stomach does flips and makes me want to throw up."

Pepper nodded in understanding. "I can see why you wouldn't tell him that."

"Do you really not know what that feeling is?"

"No, I don't. And it's really pissing me off!" Selene threw her pillow at the wall, denting it.

Natasha had to duck to avoid the projectile. "What is your pillow made of, kid?"

"I'm just strong." Selene laid down. "I'm sorry girls, I'm tired. Do you mind if we just go to sleep?"

"Not at all." Wanda pulled the blanket over her. "Goodnight."

"Goodnight, Selene."

"Night, kid."

~Selene~
"Goodnight, girls." I was rolled over to be in the middle of Wanda and Natasha, so I got comfortable, with my arm over Wanda to hold Pepper's hand. (I'm so thankful to have these girls. Please don't ever let me lose them.)

-Time Skip-

"You guys had a sleepover and didn't invite me?" I was woken up by a little girl jumping on the bed, so I pulled her down and squeezed her.

"Go to sleep, little one."

"I'm 14! And I was told to come get you!" Akal squirmed in my arms. (This reminds me of that movie with the lions. She's my cub that wants to play, but I won't let go of.)

"Who told you to come get me?" I sat up, letting her go.

"Just get up. It's important." Akal woke the other girls up, "Come on, we all need to go to the conference room." With that she disappeared.

Wanda sat up very quickly, and turned to me with a panicked look. "You're okay, thank heavens!" She wrapped her arms around me. "We need to go down to the conference room."

Natasha and Pepper had sat up at that point. "Let us get dressed and at least brush Selene's hair."

"Is it that bad?" I looked at Pepper.

Natasha tried to run her fingers through my hair. "Oh yeah, you look like a lion that got electrocuted."

"You can change after we're done, and we can brush her hair on the elevator."

In the end (it doesn't even matter 😝), we all piled out of my room and on to the elevator.

*Hey guys. I always say that "An authour's work, reflects upon its authour's personality". I'm feeling a little down, so my writing might seem sad. Um, happy reading?*
