Don't Have A Mate

~No One~
"That's cold!" Selene flinched when her blankets were pulled off. "And where did Pietro go?"

"Come on." Wanda pulled the girl's legs, dragging her off the bed. "He's awake already. But don't think about him right now; we have stuff to do today!"

"Like what?" Selene growled at the female Maximoff.

"I'll think of it when it matters. Just get up."

"So, we really don't have any plans. Give me a break, Wanda, I just want to sleep!" Selene groaned, but sat up from the floor, her back resting against her bed. "Did you really have to pull me off the bed, though?"

"Yes."

-Time Skip-

*Knock knock* Selene got out of the shower just as someone knocked on her door.

"Mija? May I come in?"

Selene walked into her closet and had Wanda open the door to let Héctor in. "Selene's getting dressed at the moment, but she'll be out soon."

~Selene~
"Hey, Héctor. What's up?" I sat on my bed and Wanda walked into my closet.

"The full moon is in three days."

My eyes widened, "What? No way, it can't be this soon." I looked at Wanda going through my clothes. "I'm not ready."

Héctor sat next to me, but kept his distance. "You'll be fine, mija."

I looked back to him, "What if I'm not? What if something happens and I hurt Wanda? Or Natasha? Or Pepper? Or Akal? What if I hurt Pietro? What if my dream comes true?" I started to panic. "I can't let that happen! Why is this only just now happening? Why hasn't it happened before?" I cried.

"It's happening now because you weren't 21 and didn't have a mate until now."

I rubbed my eyes with my thumb and forefinger, slightly pinching the bridge of my nose. "What? I don't have a mate."

~Héctor~
"What? I don't have a mate."

Selene looked about as confused as I felt. "What about that boy? Pietro?"

"I love him, yes. But he isn't mine." (This will be more dangerous then.)

"Mija, I'll have to take you somewhere. You cannot be around anyone for this transformation." I bit the tip of my thumb, as I thought. "Somewhere far away."

"I'm extremely relieved to hear you say that, but why?"

"When an Elemental falls in love they--" I thought about how to explain this the best I could, then I looked in the direction of the sister to Pietro. "You won't recognize anyone. The others will be rivals in your eyes. For now, it's too dangerous to have you here while you transform."

"But--"

"Just trust me on this. Ok?"

Selene looked uncertain but she nodded anyway. "Okay, Héctor."

"I'll let your friends know that you have to leave so they don't worry. But I have even more things to do now, so enjoy your next few days with no training." I got up from the bed to go explain everything to Wanda.
