Selene fought insistently to control herself but to no avail. She screamed as hard and as loud as her body could, before collapsing.

(I could have warned her at least.) Héctor looked down at the girl, heart full of guilt. "I'm just impressed she didn't die." He picked up his daughter's body and returned them to the training room.

~Pietro~
I saw Selene and Héctor reappear, but something was off. (Волчица!) The team rushed down to them.

"What happened to her, Torres?" Steve took Selene from the man and handed her to me. "What did you do?"

"I took her to the room in which our kind and our ancestors trained."

Wanda, Natasha, and Loki crowded around me to see if she was okay. "What kind of room does this to someone?" Steve came over and put a hand on her forehead.

"This room in particular is different than others. It takes your fears and uses them against you. It teaches us to control our emotions, so they don't control us." Héctor looked over to Selene. "She failed."

He tried to approach us, but Thor, Steve, and Bucky stood in his way. "I think you've done enough to Lady Selene for today. Would you not agree?"

~Wanda~
(What does she fear so much?) I stroked her cheek. "Tell us what happened." I spoke to Héctor without looking away from Selene.

"What has she told you about our kind?"

"Do you mean Elementals?" Pietro clarified what he was asking.

"Yes."

"She told us that she has control of the elements." I finally looked away from Selene.

"Is that all?"

"She tells us that's all she knows."

"I'll have to teach her, but the boy needs to be careful." Héctor got Pietro's attention with that.

~No One~
"What do you mean I have to be careful?"

"Just be careful at the time of the full moon."

"Full moon? What's she going to do? Become a hideous monster that'll hurt us?" Tony made a joke, unknowingly offending Héctor in the process.

"Yes, she will become a 'hideous monster' that will hurt you." With his eyes glowing, the man grabbed Tony by the shirt. "But you would do well to watch your tongue when speaking of us."

"The moon is a very important thing to the supernatural and the magical. She has been the source of our power for centuries."

~Pietro~
"You humans have associated the moon with magic since the very beginning of time and for good reason." Héctor made a little flame orb appear in his hand. "Masculinity is often compared to fire. Dangerous if uncontrolled, but necessary for human life." The orb changed to one of water. "Femininity is like water. Calming and a necessity. But dangerous as well." The orbs disappeared. "The sun, affects the rational functions of the brain, whereas the creative and intuitional functions revolve around the moon. The sun's element is fire, as he is dangerous and ever destructive. While the moon's element is water, because she is ever changing and ever flowing."

I sat down with Selene still in my arms, but now I was cradling her.

"The moon always affects us and our surroundings. Whether that be the tides or our dreams and bodies. But the bigger the moon is," Héctor shot a stabbing glare to Tony. "The more powerful and dangerous we become."

"The moon is at her most powerful during her fullest phase. And therefore the most dangerous for anyone close to someone of the supernatural or the magical."

"What happens?"

"We lose control of ourselves."
