Chapter Seven

Dave's pov;
I went to the hospital early because Danielle needs to cook for breakfast. I went in the room seeing Marie sleeping with a wonderful dream. So, I held her hand till she woke up. I was nervous when she asked if why I held her hand. She turned on the tv and I just can't stop myself holding her hand. She fell asleep, so I turned off the tv and took care of her. I was feeling tired so I also fell asleep. I didn't notice that Danielle just went inside. I only noticed that Marie was trying to pull her hand that woke me up realizing that Danielle was there already. After that, we just ate breakfast. I was going to the store near the hospital to buy water for Marie. I met Joy in the entrance door going back to Marie's room. I said, "Joy you need to know something." We were talking while going to the room. She said, " What is it Dave?" I said, " I just hold the hand of Marie until I fell asleep. And Danielle saw that I was holding Marie's hand."
She said, " That's fine in case both of you just...."
I said, " There's also one thing, but don't tell it to Marie please."
She said, " Ok go ahead."
I said, " I'm going to Dubai." She said, " When?" I said, " Next week..." She said, " How about Marie?" I said, "I'll tell her in the right time."
We stopped talking cause we were at the room already. So I gave the water to Marie and sat beside her. Danielle and Joy were talking about my travel.
Joy said, " Um, Marie, Dave needs to tell you something. Danielle and I will be just outside."
Marie said, " Ok."
" Marie, I don't know how to say this.." I said nervously.
She said, " Just tell me straight."
I said, " I'm going to Dubai next week."
She was staring at me for a long time and then tears came down from her eyes.
I said, " Marie, don't cry. I would just be there for one week." I swept away her tears on her face and hugged her.
She said, " I'll miss you." I said, " I'll miss you too, but don't worry I'll try my best to communicate you everyday.
She said, " Can you call my sister?" I said, " Ok I'll be just outside." I went outside and told Danielle that Marie needs her. I told Joy what happened and I started to cry. Joy said, " Everything is going to be fine."
Marie's pov;
Dave told me that he's going to Dubai. I don't want to let go of him but the flight is already final. So, my sister went inside my room. I said, " I want him here always at my side." She said, " Don't worry he won't forget you." I was crying on her shoulder. She calmed me down and I wanted to take a rest. Then, Joy and Dave got inside. I was going to rest but the doctor went inside checking me up. And said, " You can be discharge by tomorrow morning." I was happy on hearing the good news, but the sadness is still inside of me. Dave hold my hand and told me to be happy always. He always say that to me whenever I'm sad. Joy said, " Marie are you alright?" I said, " Not really." Joy whispered, " Dave was crying when he left the room after your sister went in." I said, " really?" She said, " Yup." I said, " Dave can talk to you for a while?" Dave said, " Sure what is it." My sister had gone to the comfort room and Joy went out of the room to leaves us talking. So, I said, " Come nearer." He step nearer and take a sit beside me, and hold my hand. He said, " What do you want to talk about? Is it about my travel?" I said, " Yes , actually. You know tomorrow I'm going home so could not see you anymore." He said, " Don't worry, I'm going to fetch you here and take you home." I said, " Thank you Dave for everything." He said, " No problem, I do this for you." He hold my hand so tight not letting me go, and stand up and stared at me for a while. He touched my face and quickly kissed my chick. I blushed so hard that I want to laugh, but I hit his arm laughing. I said, " Why did you do that?" He said, " It was just an accident." I said, " No it wasn't. " He said, " Fine. It wasn't, but I like to see you blushing all the time." We kept on laughing. My sister and Joy bought lunch for the four of us. So we ate lunch and watch the movie " Malavita ". Joy went home early and the three of us were left. So, Dave was sleeping sitting on the chair while I was always looking at his cute face. I took some rest and woke up that Dave and my sister weren't there. I noticed someone opening the door and it was Dave. I asked, " where have you been?" He said, " buying food for supper." I said, " And where's my sister?" He said, " she's in the cr." So we ate supper when my sister came. Dave waited for me to be asleep. Before he left, he hold my hand for the last time and left the room. The next day, was preparing to be discharged from the hospital. Dave came early, and fetch us. He brought his car but he wasn't the driver it was his dad. So we greeted his dad and drove us to our home. Dave helped us carry our things to our home. I'm getting nervous that he would know where I live. He said good bye to us and went back to his car. Today is Monday, I wonder what day would Dave leave for Dubai. Then, I heard a knock of my door. I said, " Who is it?" She said, " It's me your sister." I said, " What do you want from me?" She said, " Someone's looking for you." I said, " Who is it?" She said, " Open your door and see it for yourself." I opened my door and saw Dave standing holding flowers. I said, " Dave, what are you doing here? And what are the flowers for?" He said, " These flowers are for you and I'm here cause I'm saying good bye to you. My flight will be tonight." I was blushing cause the flowers were for me, but shocked cause his leaving tonight. I said, " Come in." I walked to my bed, suddenly Dave took my hand. He said, "Are you fine?" I said, " yes." He said, " No your not." I turned and looked at him. My eyes were dropping some of my tears. He hugged me for a long time to comfort me. He said, " Don't cry. I'm always at your side." I stopped crying. We spent the whole afternoon talking and took me downstairs. He said goodbye to all of us and left my house. I chased him and shouted, " Dave!" He turn around and went running to me, and said, " What is it?" I said, " I love you." He whispered, " I love your too." So he got into his car and I waved goodbye to him. I got inside of my house. When supper was there, I was eating silently with sadness. My sister tried to cheer me up but I can't cheer up. I went inside of my room, and lie down on my bed. I covered my face with a pillow and cried so much. My sister went inside and gave me water, then, left me in my room cause she knows I need some time.
