Chapter 14

Dave's pov;
I was attempting suicide during lunch time and Joy saw me so she ran to Marie's classroom and told her about my suicide on the bridge. I saw them running towards me. Marie pleaded me to stop this, she was sorry. Joy pulled me back inside the bridge and took me and Marie to the gym to talk. Yeah, it looks like I forgive her. It was dismissal time and we met at the back gate. I took her inside the carpool, and kissed her. Then, we finished, I left her there inside and called Joy cause that carpool was there. So when we were inside I held her hand till I left the carpool. I went into my room and remembered what I have done. Then, I heard my phone ring and saw that Marie was calling me.
She said, " Dave have Joy sent you a pic?"
I said, " Nope, why?"
" Gosh she sent me a pic of the two of us in the carpool this afternoon."
" Wait, is it the kiss or the hands?"
" Just wait for her message."
" Ok, bye I need to go."
" Bye Ding."
I waited for for Joy's message, and then she sent me a picture. I opened the message and saw the picture of me and Marie kissing.
I said, " Where did you get that?"
Joy said, " Uhmmmm. Haven't you notice me in the front seat?"
" Nope."
" After the two of you kissed I slowly go down and run to the back gate."
" Just don't post that pic ok."
" Ok."
I've done all my assignments, except Mathematics because I haven't understand it so Joy needs to teach me again tomorrow but I need to try to understand the lesson. Then, I went to sleep , my headphones on my head, listening to the radio. I woke up very early and texted Joy that she needs to seat beside me because I need a favor from her. Then, I went downstairs to eat breakfast and waited for my carpool. When my carpool arrived, I saw her seated beside Marie, then left a space for me. I sat between them and pulled my math book out of my bag.
I said, " Joy you need to explain me this lesson again because I didn't get it."
Joy said," What!! Again!"
" Yes, again"
" Dave how many times do I need to teach you this lesson."
" Uhm.. Many times and incase your smart in math so teach me now!"
" Ok ok but this would be the last I'll teach you about this lesson."
Then, she explained to me about the lesson and answered my assignment.
Marie said, " Really Dave, you haven't even answered your assignment."
Danielle said, " Marie, you don't even know about that lesson because you don't have that lesson in elementary."
" Yeah right."
I said, " Danielle do you even have tried this lesson?"
" Yup, it's hard to understand but I tried to understand it."
Marie said, " Good thing that Joy is smart in math and also don't cheat on her answers."
" I won't cheat already incase she always teach me math and that's why I got sometimes high grades in math."
Joy said, " Don't believe on him cause he even doesn't have high grades in math except if cheats when he is my seat mate."
" Dave you really are genius in cheating."
I said, " Actually she sometimes change the answer if I'm done, and that's why I get wrong on some items."
" He always look outside during encounter time. There, when he doesn't know the answer he would just smile and kept on dancing."
Then, we arrived at school, Joy told me that she would get in the classroom first because she needs to complete all IWs before the deadline. I told her to wait for me, and said goodbye to Marie. During lunch break, Joy was in the canteen eating with her friends, and saw Marie int he canteen eating with her friends beside Joy's table. So decided to join Joy and her friends and invited Mcchan. Me and Mcchan went to Joy's table. When, I seated beside Joy near the corner where Marie was seated almost beside me.
Joy whispered, " Did you really join us because you want to or just because of Marie?"
I whispered, " Because if her. Btw did she looked at me?"
She whispered, " Yes for a long time."
We ate our lunch, and played a game called truth or dare. When, I chooses dare Joy whispered, " I dare you to kiss the love of your life."
I said, " No way."
She said, " You chose dare so you need to do it."
I looked beside me and saw Marie listening to her friends.
I said, " Fine, but don't ever dare me on that thing ok."
She said, " Sure."
I turned around facing Marie, and took a deep breath. Then, I kissed her on the cheek quickly.
I said, " Done."
I saw her blushing and her friends saw it so they giggled so much. Then she tickled me.
I said, " Stop it! It was just a dare."
Joy said, " Ehem... Dave we will comeback ok because we will buy something."
I said, " Ok"
Then, Marie's friends also left her because they will also buy something. So I saw her looking in the other direction. I wrote a note on a paper and put it in front of her. Then, she putted it on her pocket and looked at me. I winked at her and then went to Joy.
Time skip...
After dismissal time, Joy told me that she saw Marie talking with Peter. Then, I went to where Marie and Peter was talking, and then, said, " Hey sweetie pie."
Marie said, " Hey Ding."
I said, " The carpool is there and we need to go."
I saw Peter looking at us jealous. I put my arm at her back and went to the back gate to get inside the carpool.
I said, " So what did he say?"
" He said sorry to me and wanted me again."
" And what did you said."
" I said that I can only treat him as a friend."
Then, there was silence between us. Before our carpool driver went in, me and Joy went out of the car with our bags and told the driver that we won't ride there today. I told Joy that we need to ride together in the jeep. When, I arrived at my house.
Marie texted me, " Why didn't you ride in the carpool"
I didn't answered her text and concentrated on my studies. The next day I told Marie that I'm sorry if I didn't answer because I was concentrating on my studies. After my adviser dismissed us, I went to the back gate and told Joy to meet me in the parking lot.
I said, " Joy you need to help me what to wear on Friday."
She said, " And what are you going to do on Friday."
I said, " Haven't you remember that we will have a program and we are going to dance."
She said, " Oh yes. And actually I was not joined in that dance but I still can help you."
I said, " The leader said that boys could wear anything."
She said, " I got a great plan. I we will got to your house tomorrow and I will ask the driver not to bring me home tomorrow because I will go to your house."
I said, " That's a good plan."
Then, Marie called me and Joy because the driver was there already. The next day, our group was practicing for our dance tomorrow and sounds like easy. Then, Joy told me that the driver was there already and she asked permission to her parents. We went inside and wrote something on the paper, and passed to Marie. I told her if she can bring clothes tomorrow. Then, she said sure. I asked Danielle this morning if I can bring Marie to the Parkmall with my friends. She said it would be ok because she will also go to the parkmall with her friends. Me and joy went outside of the carpool and went inside my house. We went inside my bed room and opened my closet.
Joy said, " Do you have some long sleeves there."
I said, " Yup."
She said, " Good then bring them out."
I got all my long sleeves out of my closet.
She said, " Try them on and then show it to me."
I went into the bathroom and tried my black sleeves. I went out to show it to Joy.
She said, " Nope."
I went inside again and chose my red striped sleeves. And went out.
She said, " Give that to me and try another one."
I took it off and gave it to her, then I went inside and put on my blue denim long sleeves, and went out.
She said, " That's good, give it to me and try choose the favorite color you want.
I gave the sleeves to her and went inside again, I put on my blue striped sleeves which was newly bought. Then went outside.
She said, " That's perfect."
I said, " Really!"
She said, " Yup, and I think that Marie would like it. you just need to fold the sleeves up a little bit tomorrow, don't worry I would fold those for you."
I said, " Thanks. Oh btw you need to join tomorrow going to the parkmall also bring your friends because it's my treat."
She said, " Sure no problem."
The next day, I went inside the carpool bringing my clothes in a paper bag, and saw Marie bringing also a paper bag which where her clothes were putted. Then sited beside her.
Time skip....
After lunch, I went inside the the cr and and changed my clothes for the program. I went back in the classroom and find Joy to fold my sleeves. Then I saw her in the canteen with her friends, and Marie was sitting with her friends talking and her table beside Joy's table. I went there and saw that Marie was shocked when she saw me in my clothes, and nearly I saw her blushing.
Joy said, " Dave! Sorry I almost forgotten about your sleeves."
I said, " It's ok would you just fold it cause I need to get my perfume on my bag."
She said, " Ok."
She folded my sleeves and it was perfectly folded.
She said, " Now it's done I'll just help you because something is wrong."
We went to the classroom, I went to my bag to get my perfume. Then, Joy told me that my hair was creepy, so we need to fix it. Good thing I got gel with me. Then, after fixing my it was perfect.
I said, " See you in the stage."
She said, " Don't tell me tell her."
She pointed outside the door and I saw that it was Marie. I went through the door and said, "What are you doing here?"
Marie said, " Actually I was trying to call Joy."
I said, " Ok I'll call her."
I called Joy, then she went to Marie and showed something to her in the cr. When, Joy returned she was acting normal.
I said, " What did she told you?"
She said, " You will just be surprised later, she said that she will wait us in the back gate"
" Ok!"
When, my mates called me because the program will start already, I went at the backstage and get ready. The M.Cs called our group name, then we came out. I found that Marie was staring at me already. When the music starts, we danced until the music ends. When the program was done, we went to our classrooms then our adviser dismissed us. Me, Joy and my other friends went to the back gate, and I saw Marie wearing shorts above the knees and a beautiful blouse. I kept on staring, then she tickled me.
Marie said, " Stop staring at me!"
I said, " I can't cause your too beautiful."
Joy said, " Are we going to Parkmall or not?"
I said, " Yes we are."
We were walking to the Parkmall, I held Marie's hand and went inside the Davinci's pizza parlor. After eating pizza, we went to the Laserblitz to play. I was in the team of joy with Marie and the others are our enemies. We played until we won the game and stopped for a while because we need to rest. When Marie sat beside me, I said, " Did you enjoy?"
She said, " Yup!"
I said, " I'll bring you and your sister home after this."
She said, " You didn't even brought a car here."
I said, " My dad will pick me up, and of course I need to make sure your ok when you get home."
She said, " Oh.. That's sweet Ding."
I whispered, " I love you."
She whispered, " I love you too."
I kissed her chick, and get my phone to call Danielle.
I said, " Danielle where are you?"
She said, " At your back."
I look at my back and saw her.
I said, " I well get you home."
Danielle said, " Sure."
I said, " Let's go my father is already there."
We said goodbye to Joy and my friends and went to the parking lot where my father said. When I saw the car, I let them get in first so I can seat beside Marie. I told my dad to drop them off to there house. I kept on looking at Marie, then the car stopped. I said goodbye to them, but let Marie stay for a while.
I said, " Goodnight Sweetie pie."
She said, " Goodnight Ding."
I kissed her on her lips then let go. I went inside my car and kept on thinking of her. Then, I went inside my room to change I forgot to tell her that I got a pic from her.
