"Before we begin, I'd like to apologize," Monokuma announced.

"We don't forgive you," Maki answered promptly. Almost everyone confirmed.

"Jeez, at least let me say why I'm sorry," the bear grumbled. "I forgot to give you one of your prizes for the first trial. It's this—" he pulled out a strange looking flashlight, and handed it to Shuichi. "I'll explain it later, but please, it's very useful."

"Okay, so where do we start?" I asked.

"Huh? I don't get a 'thank you?'"

"Let's start with the murder weapon," Rantaro suggested. "Nothing was at the crime scene, so one can assume it was hidden."

"Kaede had a gash in her forehead, but she also had vomited quite a bit. Since all the vomit was in the pool mixed with blood, it's impossible to tell if her vomit had blood in it. I believe the murder weapon was poison." Shuichi stated his claim with confidence, but he was still clearly distressed.

"If she was poisoned, why'd she have that gash in her forehead?" Miu questioned. "What was the purpose of that?"

"I have an idea," Ryoma spoke up. "And it supports Shuichi's claim of her being poisoned." We all turned out attention to the tennis player, eager to hear what he had to say. "I saw Kaede a few minutes before the time of death. She was near my lab, clearly feeling out of it. She claimed she was on a mission, and went inside the lab. I think she was drugged."

"Wait, you saw Kaede minutes before the murder? That's fucking suspicious!" Miu shouted. "What's his damn alibi?"

"I don't have an alibi," he commented.

"I don't think Ryoma would've provided that information if he was the blackened," I responded. Miu snorted.

"Oh, I see! So Ryoma sees Kaede right before the murder, has no alibi, and he's in he clear. But when I see Kirumi right before the murder and have no alibi, I'm suspicious!"

"But you weren't the blackened, Angie was. Move on, shitstain." Kokichi silenced her effortlessly, and we returned to the topic of conversation.

"Drugs? Where would anyone get drugs?" Tsumugi asked.

"There's a fuck ton of —"

"There's some in the warehouse!" Kokichi answered, cutting off Miu's sentence. The blonde huffed and crossed her arms.

"Yeah, there's —"

"There's really strong narcotics, I use them sometimes to get answers from traitors in my organization."

"Can you two grow up?" Maki harshly spoke. Both of them whined in response, implying that they could not.

"Anyway, the drugs work differently on everyone. When one of my members is acting disloyal, I calmly force it down their throat, and then they admit their betrayal. There's some of different strengths, it's possible to even become numb if you take a strong enough one."

"Are you telling the truth?" Himiko questioned. For once, everyone else seemed to believe him.

"Why would anyone want answers out of Kaede? What did she do?" Tenko asked.

"Hey, I just gave an example. I never said the drugs were used for an interrogation." Everyone groaned loudly. "What? At least I said something useful!"

"Yes, thanks for that," I said. "Can those drugs be lethal?"

"Anything's lethal if you take enough of it," Kokichi answered. "Didn't you see that American who died by eating a fuck ton of Hot Cheetos? Those particular drugs would take a lot, though. They mainly just fuck you up for a good while."
