"So," Kokichi started, "I have a question. If the killer for Gonta is different from the killer of Ryoma, what happens?""No need to worry. Normally, I'd say that the first murder that happened would be the one that decides the blackened, but these murders were committed by the same person. Consider that my helpful hint for this trial." Monokuma then zoned out and began ogling over his cubs.
"Thanks! So, the murders were done by the same person, then? Why kill two people?" He began thinking out loud. "It would only leave more evidence, and you only need to kill one person to get out."
"Let's start by discussing the murder weapon. Shuichi, what was the murder weapon?" Keebo asked.
"I didn't find anything," the detective responded. "Both victims appeared to have been beaten to death. There were no weapons used."
"Nyeh? Someone beat Gonta to death? How?" Himiko asked.
"That goes for Ryoma, as well. He was small, but he was incredibly strong," the robot added.
"Plus, Ryoma was pretty secure in that cage he was in, and the room was pitch black. How could he have been killed?" Tsumugi wondered aloud. "Whoever did this must've been strong as well. Sneaky, too."
"Oh, I know someone who's strong and sneaky! Maki Roll!" As Kokichi said her nickname, she got noticeably angry, and reached for something in her pocket.
"First of all, don't ever call me that. Secondly, I did not commit this crime."
"Oh, right, because you had an airtight alibi! Vomiting alone in your room." We didn't want to trust him, but Maki began to look suspicious. "Shocking! When she played poker with us she seemed very healthy. It didn't seem like she was faking her health, either."
"Well then maybe you're not that good at noticing lies after all." Everyone reeled back at her words. "I am sick. It is not an alibi, but at the very least I'm not lying."
"Nuh-uh! I can tell when people are lying, Maki Roll, and—"
"I told you not to call me that!" She pulled a knife out of her pocket and pointed it at him. "If you value your life, I recommend you shut the hell up."
"Okay, jeez. Shuichi will bring your crime to light so stop threatening me." He let out a fake tear and sniffled a bit.
"It's too soon to say that Maki's the killer, anyway. We can't be biased," Shuichi told him. "There are a few other people that could've killed Gonta and Ryoma. I have a few leads, but I need a bit more accounts."
"Should we go over alibis, just in case?" Tsumugi asked. "It's not very helpful in Ryoma's death, since he was killed in a room full of people, but if the person who killed Ryoma and Gonta are the same person, we should go over alibis for Gonta's murder.
"I was with Keebo!" Kokichi announced. "We were playing tag!"
"You were sexually harassing me! It was very robophobic. You kept asking if I had...the male reproductive organ. When I said I didn't, you insisted on chasing me until I could prove it! You only stopped once the body discovery announcement went off!"
"Fine, we weren't playing tag, we were playing keep away. Next!"
"I have the alibi list," Shuichi announced, showing the paper I handed him. "I was with Rantaro and Tsumugi at the dining hall, Tenko and Himiko were together at Tenko's lab, and Kaito, Maki, y/n, and Miu have no alibis."
"I might not have been with anyone, but one of you pervs was watching me!" Miu yelled. "I saw your shadows, dirty bastards!"
"Who's shadow was it? Did anyone go to Miu's location?" Keebo asked. No one spoke up. "Miu, you'll have to present a more believable excuse."
