"Gaaaah, these stupid contraptions are so frustrating!" You grumble, quickly ducking to avoid a flare of purple electricity.

Kazuha nods in agreement. "Yes. Fortunately, our Traveller friend has defeated any enemies prowling around the perimeter."

"Yes yes, good for us and all that, is this going to open anytime soon?" Yae Miko asks, her voice heavy with boredom as she leans against the large door at the center of the domain.

"Okay, this should do it!" You say, placing the final purple orb in the center of the doorframe.

With a large creak, the door swings open, and you hear slow clapping from Yae Miko.

She gives you a coquettish smile. "Well done. Now follow me in, we may have a bit of "negotiating" to do."

You step back to let Yae walk in first. "Negotiating?"

"You'll see." She walks forward. Before you follow, Kazuha once again takes your hand in his. He hasn't left your side since you entered the domain.

Is he... worried about something?

"Let us tread carefully," he says, snapping you out of your thoughts. "We do not know what awaits us."

As the two of you enter the next room, you're suddenly hit by a heavy aura of negative emotions. It feels as though the air has become a weighted blanket, making it difficult to breathe. You start to feel a little dizzy. Thankfully, Kazuha is there to steady you.

"W-What is this?" You stammer, squeezing Kazuha's hand tightly. "The air, it's so heavy..."

Kazuha breathes deeply, keeping his calm expression. "Well, it seems this place feeds on the negative emotions of those inside. But why..."

Suddenly, you hear a sarcastic chuckle from the far side of the room. There stands a boy with a slender figure and a deceptively pretty face. He has a youthful appearance, short in height with indigo hair that covers his ears, paired with indigo eyes and bold red eyeliner. From his expression, you immediately dislike his attitude.

"Well, well. You actually managed to find this place. Congratulations." He mocks. "If you're looking for that fool from earlier, I'd check over there."

He points to the center, and as a cloud of purpleair disperses, you see the Traveler, collapsed on the ground unconscious. Paimon circles them frantically before seeing you, Kazuha, and Yae Miko.

She dashes towards you, floating and flying erratically. "T-They won't get up, they won't get up!" She sputters.

Without hesitation, you and Kazuha rush to their side. Meanwhile, Yae Miko faces the fellow with the large hat.

"So, you're the Balladeer? Scaramouche, the Sixth Fatui Harbinger? Funny, I thought you'd be taller," Yae Miko says smoothly.
"So, what exactly would it take you to unstick our friend here from the ground?"

Scaramouche rolls his eyes, visibly irked by Yae's comments. "Hmph, I would need something of equal value. This Traveller has been a thorn in our side for some time now, so it would take a lot to—"

"How about this?" Yae Miko interrupts, pulling a small shining purple object from... thin air?

Who is this lady???

The Balladeer's eyes widen. "That's a—"

"Why yes it is. If you'd like it, Ei and I don't really need it anymore. But first, let our friend here leave. It's a simple exchange, yes?" She says, as if she were explaining something to a child.

The purple haired harbinger closes his eyes in thought for a moment. Suddenly, the heavy weight in the air lifts slightly.

Kazuha gives you a simple nod, and the both of you lift the Traveler from the ground. Together, you lay them over Kazuha's shoulder, and Paimon sighs happily. "Oh thank goodness!"

Yae Miko twirls a piece of her pink hair around her finger. "Good. And, as promised, you may take this."

Without hesitation, Scaramouche snatches the object from the air with a wide grin. "Payment received. Now, I suggest you all leave before I change my mind. I'm sick of having visitors"

The three of you look towards the exist, Yae Miko walking out first followed by Kazuha with the Traveller on his shoulder.

As you leave though, a voice carries from behind you.

"Inazuma looks impenetrable from the outside," Scaramouche calls coolly, pacing back and forth. "But on the inside, it's "eternity" makes every moment fragile and weak."

You keep walking, ignoring his words.

"Take your friend who just left. He's a lost soul, who let one event shape his entire future." He smirks.

You pause, clenching your fists.

"What do you even know about Kazuha?" You respond, anger welling up inside of you.

"He's just like the rest of Inazuma, holding on so tightly to whatever or whomever was taken from them. They're all like a bubble on the water, beautiful for a moment, then followed by destruction. The tighter the hold, the more incompetent they are. It's simply... hilarious." Scaramouche chuckles without humor.

"Why you, you—!" You seethe, but suddenly, you feel a warm hand on your shoulder.

You look up into scarlet eyes.
"Y/N, let us go." Kazuha says, gently leading you towards the door, the Traveller still on his shoulder.

Did he hear what Scaramouche just said? Isn't he angry?

You nod slowly, searching the samurai's calm expression for a sign of anger, but finding none. "Alright."

As you follow Kazuha to the domain's exit, the Harbinger's words won't leave your mind.

A lost soul huh...
Then I'll just have to find him again.
