(Your Point of View)
"You sure this is gonna work?" Paimon grumbles, floating absentmindedly through the chilly night air.
You nod confidently. "Of course! Yoimiya gave it to us, after all."
"Agreed." The Traveler says.
After explaining the situation to Ayaka, the Traveler suddenly came knocking at Komore Teahouse with a small ninja girl at their side. Apparently, Yae had asked them to find evidence that the Kujou clan has betrayed the Shogun. So, after meeting back up with Yoimiya, you were given a massive firework to use as a distraction while the ninja snuck around to look for evidence.
"Okay everyone, remember what Yoi said. Once we light the firework, we have to run." You remind your companions.
"Hehe, who said anything about running?" Paimon giggles. The Traveler bonks her on the head.
You take a deep breath, moving the hair out of your eyes. "Okay. Three, two, one... Go!"
The pounding of your footsteps echo into silence as the firework explodes behind you, sparks brushing your shoulders. You feel a bead of sweat roll down my forehead as you and the Traveler run opposite directions. The soles of your shoes hit the ground, as you focus your energy on running like the wind.
Run... like him...
You recall the way he stands, the way he walks, as if floating on air. You smile, adjusting your stance accordingly.
Eventually, you lose the guards that were chasing you, and calmly make your way back to Komore Teahouse to meet up with the others.
"Well? How did it go?" Ayaka asks as you and the Traveler enter, exhausted.
"I think it went well." The Traveler says, turning to you. "You're fast."
You laugh. "Me? Really? Honestly, I think I'm pretty uncoordinated."
Uncoordinated...
A memory comes to mind.
The Traveler grins. "You might've been, but not anymore. Also..."
Whack!
"Ow! Hey, what was that for?!" You grumble, putting a hand on your head where the Traveler had whacked you.
"For telling someone a certain something." They roll their eyes.
Tohma attempts to hold back his laughter, and you glare at him. "Now now you two, no roughhousing in the Teahouse." He says jokingly.
Suddenly, the ninja Sayu barges in, huffing and puffing heavily.
"I know exercise... is suppose to help you grow... but I think this went... a little overboard..." she pants, her tail flicking back and forth. "But here ya go, I just grabbed everything. Now, I'm going to sleep."
She walks out, and you and your companions stare wide-eyes at the documents.
"My lady... what are we looking at here?" Tohma says incredulously.
Ayaka sighs deeply. "It seems the Kujou clan has been creating unrest behind the scenes by corresponding with the Fatui. Guuji Yae's suspicions were correct. Traveler, would you take these documents to her at once? I believe that she will know the best step forward."
"Of course." The Traveler says, taking the documents in hand. "You can count on me."
As the Traveler departs with Paimon at their side, you turn your gaze to Ayaka. "Should I go with them?"
