It's been a week since the party. Since Tara is working full time now, their schedules always clashed. It was finally Sunday and they were dying to meet eachother.

At Adi's house

Tara was about to open the gate but she found him standing there and looking at her already.

He just opened his arms and she came running. After a long hug and a huge sigh, they went in.

It was only 6 in the morning. Tara wanted to spend the whole day with him, so she didn't want to wait till 9 or 10.

Since it was too early, they just sat on the couch looking at each other.

Tara started
"Adi you are very lucky. Na last ah Sunday apo 6 ku enthirachathu 2018 la. A famous food blogger oru new french bakery pathi eluthunanga. That blog went viral and daily queue la first 10 perku thaan macaroons kedaikum. Athukaga I woke up at 5 and got ready. It was the best macaroon I've ever had. Antha mathiri thaan neeyum, best man I've ever met"

She said and kissed his cheeks loudly

"Enna macaroons oda compare panitiya! I feel so special ma" and he meant it. Tara's father told him that if she ever compares an experience to a food - it truly means it's the best one she has ever had.

They kept talking about her work and Tara asked

"Nee un job pathi solave matengira"

"Na sola maaten but unaku katuven"

"Purila"

"Next week nee free ah irukapo visitors pass vangi tharen. We can spend the whole day there. Campus jolly ah irukum"

"Namma ore college la iruntha epdi irunthirukum"

"You would have been the cute junior I would've crushed on"

"Apdiyaaaa! but I can't say the same. Before meeting you, I had a checklist for my dream man. Neenga apde opposite"

"Enga sollu kepom"

"Extroverted, foodie, a guy with a traveling job, beard ilama, konjam bad boy type"

"Bad boy type na enna?"

"Someone who wouldn't feel guilty after we bunk college" she laughed

"Paathiya bunk panra mathiri paiyan venum nu keta but now your stuck with a professor" he pulled her into his lap

"Athu mattuma you're introverted, health conscious, your job has zero travel, beard iruku, and you are the living example of a good boy!"

"Ohhh apo intha qualities laam unaku pudikuma pudikatha"

"Ellam okay but neeyum foodie ah iruntha nalla irukum"

"You are lucky that I atleast know how to cook. Foodie paiyan vanthiruntha neeyum avanum veliyave saptu saptu tired aairupeenga" he huffed

"Do you think I'll complain about eating out? Ever?" Tara laughed

"Pchh po ma nee" he got a little insecure

Tara felt bad. She turned his face towards her,

"Those were a highly hormonal teenager's wish list Adi. That's not me anymore. And seriously apdi oru paiyanoda I won't even last for a month. I don't want a silly boy to be reckless with. I always needed a man to spend the rest of my life with and that man is you" she looked into his eyes

He quickly pulled her in for a kiss.

They parted after a few minutes. She caressed his beard

"Clean shave vena panava" he joked

"Hmmm vendam it's a bonus I never knew I needed" she giggled

"Seri elaborate on the bad boy type"

"Enna nee exam la vara mathiri question kekura"

"Sollu ma" he hugged her closer

"2 mark ah 5 mark ah" she teased

"5 mark sollu" he said seriously

"Athavathu I've been very nice and disciplined my whole life. So oru change ku rebellious boyfriend laam iruntha epdi irukum nu imagine paniruken. And obviously all the movies that glorify the boys who parents don't approve of- influenced me. Athaan antha mathiri yosichen"

"Ohhh na apdi laam ila, I always wanted someone to just be with me through highs and lows. Teenage la obviously there were crushes but avungala laam partner ah imagine panathu ila. I only knew one thing- whoever she is, avaluku mattum thaan antha feel kudupen nu"

"And you're doing it perfectly. You know what, aniku when i saw you laughing with my dad, the feel I had was undescribable. Avlo overwhelming ah irunthuchu. Antha mathiri no other guy could make me feel"

"You've given me a family Sithara. I'll always be grateful for that."

"You deserve it Adi. You are a gem! Nee boyfriend material laam ila"

"Pinna" he looked offended

"Husband material" she said proudly

"And hey, I'm glad you didn't like good boys back then. Ilana evanavathu correct panirupan!"

"Young and dumb Tara did atleast one right thing laaaa"

Their laughters filled the house

It felt good to finally talk about the future without hesitating. This is what they wanted for so long
