Roadtrip time!

Adi wanted to book a flight but Tara insisted on a road trip. Rakesh's flight was in the evening.

8AM:

"Sithara are you sure? Almost 8 hours ma"

"Nee itha 8 hours travel nu pakura but na 8 hours with you nu yosikren Adi" she said as she was packing

"Hmm ithellam nalla sollu ana pack panrathu mattum 2 hours before we leave. Oru vagaila flight book panathathu nallathu thaan" he pouted and sat on her bed watching her throw her clothes randomly

She stopped suddenly

"Ama na traditional ah dress pananuma enna"

"Pchh thatha palaya aalu thaan ma athukunu only Saree nu solra alavuka laam ila. He's a cool person actually" Adi smiled

She knew that there was a pain behind that smile. He was excited to see his grandfather but he was annoyed about facing his parents again. That's why she suggested a roadtrip. She can talk to him till they reach there and prevent him from overthinking.

"Seri apo Saree vendam la" she moved to her cupboard again

"Ila ila nee saree eduthuko"

"Ethuku"

He shrugged

"Kedi Kumareyy enna saree la paakanum nu aasai ah"

"Ma apdi solala ma...." She waited for him to continue

"Excuse ilayo intha vaati??"

"Thaba bah ba...kovil ku laam povom la athuku thaan"

"Kovil thaane en kita vera outfit iruku" she teased

Adi understood her smirk. He went to her closet and took a Saree and put it in her suitcase

"Nee saree la azhaga irupa" he whispered, pecked her lips and ran downstairs

She was blushing a lot. She came down with her luggage after a while. Adi was sitting on the table eating and talking to her parents

She called him "Adiii intha car la vechiru"

He kept it in the car and came back when Tara pulled him and whispered "Epo paathalum umma kuduthitu odidra Adi nee" she smirked seeing his flustered face

"Dei en da moonji ipdi iruku. Veliya avlo veyil ah enna? Luggage veika thaana pona" her dad teased him on purpose

"Apppaaaaa" Adi whined

"Seri seri have a safe trip" he patted Adi's shoulders

Renu kissed both of them on their foreheads.

"Paathu poituvanga pa. Ethuva irunthalum call panunga" she said looking at Adi

He smiled at them. They started the drive around 10AM

Adi was about to play songs. Tara hit his palm

"Na oru nadamadum podcast irukapo unaku ethuku music"

"Seri thaan" he smiled at her

She was still silent

"Podcast en amaithiya iruku topic ilaya pesa"

"Cha cha neraiya iruku athaan problem"

"Onnu onna pesu ma neraiya time iruku"

"Seri..I'll ask you a few questions nee honest ah bathil solanum okay?"
