It was late at night, you laid on the couch that Itadori sat on during the day. It seemed that this small apartment doesn't have enough room for you. Well, Gojo did say that you could sleep on the same bed with him(with a wink), which you whacked him with a cushion as an answer. Then Itadori said that he can let you sleep in his room while he sleeps on the couch, but being a good senpai you are, you ruffled his hair and rejected him, which Gojo would not stop whining about how unfair you treated him. And now here you are, laying on the couch in the dark.
You actually had an apartment that you could go back to, but you didn't want to go back. There were too many things there that you didn't want to see, so you haven't been back there for a very long time. You actually wanted to just give it to someone else, but Gojo insisted that you should keep it, he even paid the rents for you. You kind of felt bad that you never touched it even once anymore, but to you, it was worse than going through hell than going there. You let out a sigh and turned your body, the injury on your arm is not making it any better for you.

You opened your eyes groggily, fumbling around for your phone. The brightness made you think you ascended to heaven for a second, where the holy light burnt your eyes like you were some sort of a demon. You hurriedly press a few buttons to answer the call without looking at the caller.
"Hello?" You asked softly.
It was silent on the other side, if it wasn't for the barely audible background noise you would thought they had already hung up.
"...Hello?" You called out again, this time louder.
"(Name)-san," the voice made you jump up in an instant, any remaining sleepiness was gone.
"Yoshino-kun?" You asked in a hushed but panicked voice, "are you alright? Where are you now? Are you in a safe place-"
"I'm okay, don't worry," he cut you off, panicking a little like you, "sorry for calling so suddenly."
You slouched back onto the couch as you let out a sigh of relief, "that's good," though you still stayed a bit alert, "where are you now?"
"I'm just at my home," he responded quietly.
"Ah, I see," you relaxed a little bit more upon hearing it, "so what's up?"
He didn't respond, only the silent ringing in your ears was heard.
"...Yoshino-kun?" You called out again, worry was starting to spike up again.
"...Do you mind calling me Junpei?" He suddenly said.
You were a bit taken aback, but you quickly responded, "of course, Yoshi- I mean Junpei-kun."
You heard him letting out a small laugh, but it disappeared as soon as it appeared. After a long pause, he spoke again, "...(name)-san, do you believe that humans have hearts?"
"Hm?" The question was really abrupt, so you just started rambling things that just came into your mind without filtering them, "living organisms like animals requires a heart to live because the heart pumps blood to our body to provide oxygen. Do I need to explain the artery, veins and all those stuff to you? I studied biology once," you tried to explain as professionally as you could.
"No, not that kind," you heard him letting out a laugh again, "I mean," he then paused, then he continued, "the soul and heart kind."
You had never thought of these kinds of questions, so you made a long pause to ponder on his question. However, it was really late at night, you're braindead at this time, so you gave up thinking and asked, "why are you suddenly asking about it?"
