It had been a quiet day, Gojo hasn't been looking for you, probably because he was dealing with one of the culprits that they had captured. You brushed off the dog fur that was left from yesterday, it was somewhat larger than you remembered. Not that it mattered, you like them big, big bois are good bois.

It was a sunny day, too sunny for your liking. So you got out of bed and shut the curtains, leaving a small gap that lets enough lights get through. You were told that you had to stay in the infirmary for a few days without going anywhere. Not that you really mind that much as long as you don't have to be drowned in crowds... and be harassed by Gojo.

As much as you enjoyed being alone, you couldn't help but kind of look forward to the next person visiting you, if there were any that are willing to at all. You let out a small sigh and sat back onto the bed, flipping through the blank pages of your sketchbook that you had yet to fill. Nothing came into your mind at this moment, so you could only stare at the white sheets in boredom. You had lost your phone during the event, which meant that you had nothing else to do besides sleep and eat and stare at something until you sleep again.

The soft footsteps in the hallway made you perk up, you listened to them intently, waiting for whoever might open the door at any time. However, it fell silent again, making you slouch back with puffed-out cheeks. Not that you really wanted people to come in, you enjoyed the solitude-

"(Name)-senpai!" You bite your tongue and choked on your spit at the sudden loud noise.

"Yuji, wait!" Another voice called out hurriedly, "we can't disturb (name)-senpai's rest!"

It was too late, a pink blur whooshed past him and lunged at you, you swore that you could hear your bed cracking due to his weight, "(name)-senpai! Are you okay?"

"Would've been better if you didn't just crush my bones," you groaned out as you tried to push him off you, though a smile slowly crept up your face.

"I'm so sorry!" Itadori jumped up immediately and apologized, "are you okay?" He reached out to you but quickly retracted his hands as if he was afraid that he might actually break your bones, so he could only circle around you like a helpless puppy.

"I'm fine, don't worry," you let out a laugh, offering a smile at Junpei who was standing behind him and fiddling with his shirt, "thanks for visiting me."

"...Don't mention it," he said quietly, making no motions to step closer.

You smiled at him and gestured for him to move closer to you, "come here."

Under Itadori and your watchful eyes, he hesitantly shuffled closer. The whole process he made sure to avoid your gaze at all cost, acting as if you would swallow him whole if he stared straight into your eyes. When he was in front of you, he tensed up, not knowing what he was expecting. Then he jumped up when he felt a hand was placed on his head gently, looking up to meet your smile.

"You did great," you told him with a grin before moving your hand to Itadori's head, "you too, I heard what you did."

"Really?" His eyes lit up, the corner of his lips tugged up, "you think I was great?"

"Yeah," you couldn't help but want to ruffle his hair even more, it was soft and warm as if it was blessed by the sunlight itself.

"...I'm sorry," Junpei spoke again, averting his gaze before he continued, "I failed to protect you again."

"What are you saying, silly?" You chuckled and offered him a reassuring smile, "I am fine."

"You could've died," his tone hardened as his frown deepened, "If I was stronger, I could've-"
