"Come on...move aside already, the sun's gonna get you."

Under the flaring sunlight, a figure squatted near a bush from the side of the school's field, using a stick in their hand to poke an earthworm on the ground. Droplets of sweat rolled down their forehead, but they didn't move from their spot.

"Slowly...no not that way you dingus!" You exclaimed with frustration as you watched the earthworm slither toward the sun.

Wiping your sweat with your sleeves, you once again tried to pick the earthworm up carefully, making sure not to alert it so it wouldn't squirm and fall.

"Hey you," a sharp voice that came from behind you made you yelp and fall on your butt.

Your head shot up, meeting the fierce eye of the girl with a ponytail, holding a polearm that rests on her shoulders. If you didn't know where you were, you would really assume she is here to murder you. You rarely ever show up on the school campus, let alone talk to them, you were only here because Satoru made you and you were nice enough to actually go. So you can only assume her name is something like Makima or Maki for now. But of course, you will never call her name until someone else did it first.

"Gojo-sensei told me to get you," she leered down at you like a hawk.

You hated that a junior made you want to dig a hole and stick your head inside it, but you blame it on the earthworm that is too stubborn to go back into the soil, "a-alright," you fumbled with your words, clumsily pushing yourself up and stood there uncomfortably.

Narrowing her eyes at you, she turned away as she muttered under her breath, "I can't believe this person's our senior."

Ah, your dreams of being a super cool awesome amazing fantastic epic senpai had been shattered. But can you really blame her though? This is the only time you've properly interacted with her and you are practically sniffing dirt. Giving the earthworm one last glance, you waved it goodbye and followed behind Maki.

As you walked out of the shades, you had to shield your eyes from the blazing sunlight. It felt like it was melting your skin, but that was the least of your concerns right now. Something about the first year terrified you, their glares shooting at you and how silent they were when you tried to introduce yourself. You felt almost like a spy trying to sneak into an enemy's base.

You thought they didn't like you.

Except Panda though! Pandas are the best! Out of all three of them, Panda was the only one that really had a nice conversation with you mostly because Satoru refused to elaborate when introducing him. He tried to explain to you that everyone was not as mean as they looked, but from how they leered at you...

The more you get closer to the building, the tighter you gripped the hem of your shirt, you are going to rip Satoru apart with your bare hands after this, you really shouldn't have come.

"Why are you acting like that?" Maki's sudden fierce voice made you flinch, she turned around and narrowed her eyes at you, "Aren't you a first-grade jujutsushi? Why are you acting like you can't do anything on your own?" Facing you fully, she crossed her arms and leered at you as you started visibly shrinking, "Aren't you going to say anything back? Or are you used to people talking for you?" She scoffed as she looked for your reaction.

At this moment, you were having intense flashbacks of hiding behind the back of Satoru, Suguru, Haibara or Nanami so that you wouldn't have to do the talking. You swore that you talked to the cashier yourself a few times but under such immense pressure of Maki you couldn't recall any, you could only blurt out, "I-I talked to waiters myself, sometimes."
