"Hey, how do I look?" Maki asked, looking away from Kugisaki and towards you, who was once again carrying loads of shopping bags.

"It's not-" you gulped back what you were about to say as they both glared at you, "y-you look great."

"What about it is great then?" Kugisaki asked just as you were about to let out a sigh of relief.

You straightened up again, "u-uh," you glanced around, not knowing where to look, "the...colours... look good?"

"That's too broad," she rolled her eyes.

You then tilted your head a little to think of a better word, "It, uh, fits you?"

"Stop asking (name) for advice," Maki placed a hand on Kugisaki's shoulder and snickered, "you should be able to tell that they don't have a sense of fashion by the way they dress."

The way you sulked at her words only made them laugh more, but there was nothing that you could do. You could only pout at them as they dragged you on, piling up the boxes and bags that you already had to carry.

Yep! That's you. You're probably wondering how you ended up in this situation. Though you honestly had no idea anyway. You were just casually doing your mission earlier, then as you were about to land a final blow on the cursed spirit, Maki flew out of nowhere and landed on the cursed spirit. The blow that Maki landed on it was so strong that it completely obliterated it.

Just as you were grinning dumbly and approached her to greet her, she grabbed your collar. you yelped as you feel your flowery mood being blasted away, then shut your mouth when you were met with her burning gaze, there were still blood and dust from the cursed spirit that she just exterminated dripping down her face.

Right when you opened your mouth again, she cut you off with a growl that sounded almost like a dragon fending off intruders, "come shop with us."

You didn't want to know what would happen if you said anything else besides yes. So before you knew it, you were kidnapped dragged away by Maki and towards the city centre. You were flooded by people immediately, but you were thankful that she didn't let go of you before meeting Kugisaki. At least you were contributing by carrying their shopping bags.

"Why don't you try some on?" Kugisaki suddenly turned away from the colourful pile of clothing and looked at you.

"Me?" You blinked and pointed at yourself, the bangs on your arms rustling at your movements.

"Who else do you think it is?" Maki rolled her eyes and said.

"Hm," Kugisaki looked back at the pile of clothes and rubbed her chin, "go try this on," she then plucked one out and shoved it towards you.

You shook your head frantically and tried to push it away from you, "there's no need to, I-"

"You don't even have anything else to wear besides your uniform," she retorted, pushing it against your chest with a huff.

"Just go already," Maki cut off your last hope by pushing you towards the changing room, then snatching the bags out of your hands.

Without a warning, you were shoved into a room roughly. The curtains shut behind you without missing a beat, giving you no time to protest.

"Try it on and let me see," you could hear Kugisaki calling out from outside.

Sighing as you hear them walk away, you turned around to face the mirror behind you. Your tired eyes stared back at you, you lost count of how many days you were working without having a proper sleep. But that doesn't matter, you didn't want to sleep long enough to dream anyway.
