After a hard battle physically and emotionally with Shin Teikoku Gakuen, Raimon made their way back home.
As they passed the riverbank, two people in particular caught Endou's eye so he requested that Furukabu stopped the bus after seeing someone do a move almost identical to Fire Tornado but with dark energy surrounding him.
"He's wearing our uniform, but who is he?" Kazemaru asked.
"I'll go find out." Endou said as he got off the bus and went down to the riverbank, "Sugimori!"
"Endou! Long time no see!"
"Glad to see you again Sugimori, who's this?"
"His name is Shadow."
"Nice to meet you Shadow! How come you're in our uniform?"
"I transferred to Raimon on the same day the aliens attacked but by the time I actually got to the school, you had already left."
"So I scouted him." Sugimori said.
"Scouted?"
"For the backup team to fight Aliea Gakuen. Everyone is cheering you guys on."
"Thank you Sugimori, Shadow!"
After this encounter, they made their way back to Raimon where they saw Mr Raimon and Principlai Hirai waiting for them while heavy construction work was taking place behind them.
"Good job everyone on your battle against Aliea Gakuen. I must say I was surprised to hear about Kageyama's return." Mr Raimon said, "but with your great battles, you must rest in between. Take this time to relax, see family and other friends you haven't seen in a while."
The team split up and all went to different places, as for James, he went to go see Luke, hoping that he was okay as he texted him to meet at the Steel Tower Plaza.
After a while, the rest of the team gathered at the riverbank where soon after, Haruna revealed that Kogure had completed his hissatsu technique which the team validated and were pleased with the progress that Kogure had made.
Unfortunately, Someoka had exposed himself, in the sense that the seriousness of the injury had been revealed as he kept trying to improve Wyvern Blizzard, this meant that he would be unable to play for a while and Hitomiko made the decision not to take Shadow as a replacement striker who agreed with the decision as he felt that he was lacking power in his Dark Tornado.
The next day, the team gathered in their underground base to set off for Osaka, where Hibiki, Mr Raimon and Hirai believed the alien base would be located.
"James isn't here yet." Haruna pointed out.
"He hasn't been responding to any messages either." Kidou mentioned.
"Just tell him we're heading to Osaka." Hitomiko said, "we don't have any more time to waste so he'll have to make his own way there."

"I'm glad we've arrived." Endou said, "but is this theme park really the where their base is located?"
"It would be quite smart, they'd be hiding in plain sight." Megane said.
"Their base is 100% in this theme park." Hitomiko said.
"We should split up and look for anything of use." Natsumi said, "we can't just spend our time debating."
"Where's Fubuki?" Endou asked.
"A secret hideout?" A girl asked next to Fubuki.
"I think there's one over there." A second girl said as she pointed in a direction they begun to walk in.
