Chapter 33 - Aliea Gakuen's Tournament

"Ah, here you are James." Hiroto said as they came face to face with each other in the corridor, "off to train?"

"Yeah."

"Good. You'll need it."

"Pardon me?"

"You'll need it. I'm planning on hosting a small tournament in the next week or so."

"A tournament?"

"Yeah. A round robin tournament with my team, Gaia, Prominence, Diamond Dust and Enlightened Heat, if you don't go crawling back to Raimon."

"And what will this achieve? You do know that unless that person approves, Gaia winning won't secure you the name of Genesis."

"I know, but I'd like to show Raimon what they'll eventually face. I'm thinking to do it in three days actually, a week is too long. I've already spoken to Endou about it."

"Fine. Let's do it."

The Raimon team gathered at Zeus' stadium for what would be an awkward re-encounter for all the players, especially considering that only Coach Hitomiko and Endou knew why they were there in the first place.

"E-Endou, what are we doing at Zeus' stadium?" Kabeyama asked.

"Hiroto invited us here."

"Hiroto!?" The team chorused.

"Endou, why do you act like he's your friend? He plays for Aliea Gakuen." Kidou said.

"Because he is my friend, and anyway, he just wants us to see a tournament." Endou said before grinning, "besides, it can help us breakdown Enlightened Heat."

"Yes he's right." Hitomiko said sternly, "and anyway, there's no turning back now."

The boy with long blond hair walked gracefully through the wide corridors that were plastered with artwork of Greek gods, with the biggest one being the painting of Aphrodite.

The boy put his hand on picture with the ball at his feet, I'm working hard to catch up to them and join them. We'll never use something like God's Aqu-

"Aphrodi!" Hera shouted as he ran down the corridor to their captain.

"Hera, what's wrong?"

"It's Aliea Gakuen. The one called Gran, he came to us and said that they're using our stadium for some tournament in a while then he disappeared."

"Well we can't really say no to that."

"He also said Raimon are coming to watch, I think they're already outside."

"!!!"

"This could be your chance Aphrodi, you can ask to join them today!"

"No. Not yet. I'm not strong enough."

"Then what will we do?"

"We'll watch from Kageyama's old room."

The Raimon Eleven made their way into Zeus' stadium, with Endou and Coach Hitomiko leading the way, they walked to the stands and the field was vacant.

"Not even Zeus are here." Endou noticed.

"Where are the aliens?" Kabeyama asked.

"Probably getting ready to make a grand appearance as usual." Domon sighed.

Domon was absolutely right; just as he finished his sentence, a flash of white light appeared at the far right of the field, followed by red, blue then yellow, with each burst of light getting closer to and eventually reaching the opposite goal. After all the light died down, Gran smirked and stepped forward.
