(Kadynce's POV)

There are no words...

No words to describe what I'm feeling.

He's here...

He's awake...

The love of all of my lives is okay.

The father of my children.

My favorite person in the world, he is here.

Nixon Kol Pierce; the man I love did not leave me.

He did not leave our children.

After spending months in mourning, doubtfulness, loneliness, and pain, I can finally say that it was all worth it. All the tears and heartaches were worth every ounce of joy that has surfaced in my heart.

He made it right on time for Kendall's and Kenleigh's arrival, and I couldn't be happier.

Hours after the girls were born, Nixon's nurse, Lola, wheeled him away to check in with his doctor and take his meds. I made sure that I talked Daddy into going with him, I didn't want to lose eyes on him.

My doctor had me moved to the postnatal ward to recover, Kendall and Kenleigh were taken to the nursery so I could start my recovery.

I almost panicked once Nix was no longer in my sight, I, for sure, thought this was all a dream and I feared that once I could no longer see him, then I would wake up in agony again. But just as soon as he was wheeled away, he was wheeled back, and this time in a bed.

"What is this?" I grinned as multiple nurses including his own, parked him right next to my bed.

Luckily, my room was huge. I made sure to ask for one of the more luxurious rooms in the postnatal ward. I need the extra space for me and my family.

"I'm joining you, baby." Nixon returned my smile. "It didn't take much to convince my doctor that I need to be here with you while you recover." He filled me in. "I hope that's okay...?"

He was nervous.

He looked so adorable.

Gosh, I just wanted to kiss him...

"Are you kidding me?" I sighed, I reassured him but couldn't hide anxiousness. "I have missed you these last few months, I hope you'll be okay with me smothering you for every second of every day for the rest of our lives."

Nixon chuckled, shaking off his insecurities.

Once the nurses had his bed parked and set up, they left, leaving his nurse behind. "I'll be back to check in on you in a couple of hours." She told him, backing towards the door.

"Okay, Lola." Nixon responded, nodding his head. "Thanks."

She smiled. "You're welcome. And congratulations you two."

"Thanks." I smiled, waving at her before she turned and walked out.

My mom and Rocio had left not too long ago, they ended up taking an Uber home because Daddy wanted to stay behind to help out Nixon.

"Where's Dad?" I asked Nix. "I assumed he'd be coming back with you."

"He was going to, but he looked so tired, I sent him home once he saw that I was okay. Plus, he knows that I'm here with you now, that's why he didn't come back up." He told me.

I pouted. "Yeah, he looked pretty beat." I added. "My mom and Rocio, too."

"Did they promise to keep our secret?" He asked me, his eyes hopeful.
