Chapter 8 - Right There With You, Sister

(Nixon's POV)

**** WINTER BREAK: SENIOR YEAR ****

"How cool are Kadynce's parents?" Zayne smirked at me, happy that our college semester was over; we could finally let go and have some fun. It was also Kadynce's winter break for her senior year, she was happy to spend it away.

We were currently unpacking the rental SUV while the girls waited patiently inside the cabin for us. Kadynce's parents were awesome enough to rent out a huge cabin for us to spend a week away; we aren't too far out, just a few hours from home.

Just me, Kadynce, Zayne, and Maddy.

Jesse couldn't come because he had other plans. So, we ended up telling everyone else that it was just going to be a couple's thing.

"I know man, renting out this huge dope ass cabin." I agreed.

Zayne grabbed the last bag as I closed the trunk. "For a whole fucking week." He cried. "I told them that the offer for my adoption is still up for discussion." He mused.

I chuckled with him as we headed inside. "Shut up."

"And I plan on having a whole lot of fucking sex in the next week." Zayne groaned, tilting his head back towards the sky. "It's not easy to do, nor is it appropriate to do when there is a child in the bed too."

I rolled my eyes, amused. "I definitely agree with that."

Stepping inside the door, we kicked off our boots and placed them by the front door. They were covered in the snow that was piled up high just outside the doors. It was just a little more than what we were used to back at home; being up here on the mountain.

Placing our bags down on the floor by the bottom of the stairs leading to the second floor, the girls walked in with their findings in hand.

Looked like wine.

"Look what we found." Kadynce smirked, walking up to me, dancing the bottle around in her hand.

Maddy had four wine glasses in her hands, walking alongside Kadynce. "Who's ready to get this party started?" Her smirk matched Kadynce's, mischievous, yet playful.

Chuckling, I pulled her to my side with a kiss on her forehead as I checked out the wine bottle that she held in her hand. "Gallo." I chuckled at my beautiful girlfriend, meeting her eyes. "We've only been here ten minutes, and you're already trying to get me drunk and take advantage of me." I joked, squeezing her behind.

She giggled.

"Now, you and I both know that I don't have to get you drunk to get what I want." Kadynce's smirk widened.

Maddy handed out two glasses to Kadynce as she smiled at her. "Kadynce, you whore." She joked, making Kadynce laugh even harder as she took two glasses from her hand.

I stepped back to open the bottle using my car key, it was a trick I learned a while back.

"Our ladies know that we like to get down and dirty." Zayne added, roughly pulling Maddy into him and kissing her roughly making her playfully complain. "We need to check out that hot tub. Soon."

Opening the bottle, I poured some into the glasses that Kadynce held before handing the bottle to Zayne. "We definitely should." I muttered, taking a sip from the glass Kadynce handed me.

Wagging her eyebrows at me, she took a long sip from hers.

I love my girl...

"Let's go check out the rooms first." Maddy chimed in.
