☂Calum☂

I did not think this through, at all.

I was wearing nothing but a hoodie, and boxers, sitting in the passengers seat of Ashton's car. I squirmed in my seat just thinking of the situation.

For some reason I didn't care about the amount of trouble i'd be in when I got home, maybe my mom wouldn't even be home by the time I got back, or even notice.

"I can't really go anywhere um public, if that's what we're doing." I spoke quietly, looking at him from the corner of my eye.

He laughed, causing my heart to thump wildly in my chest. "I figured as much, I don't think you're allowed to wear Spongebob boxers into a restaurant." He said, scanning his eyes over my body.

I blushed, because I had hoped he would have thought they were just shorts. I tried pulling the hoodie I had on down further to cover my boxers, but decided on just resting my hands on my thighs.

"I think Patrick the Star looks nice on your ass." He said, and I stiffened in my seat.

I've never felt more embarrassed.

"Don't be embarrassed, it's cute." He said.

I was confused to what he was responding to, until I realized I had said what I thought out loud.

"I know where we're going, don't worry. Your nervousness is radiating over to me." He teased, turning up the radio.

Am I really that easy to read, dammit. It's no wonder Luke was able to tell how I was feeling so easily.

I kept thinking about talking about what happened at school earlier, but I felt insecure. That's probably why I seemed so nervous. He must be curious, and he did deserve some explanation.

"S-so about earlier today, I want to explain my-" I said before he cut me off this time.

"Calum, you don't have to explain yourself to me." He spoke, smiling widely at me, before averting his eyes back towards the road.

I gulped before speaking again. "I um want to tell you, so I-I hope you don't mind." I turned to look at him, and he was already looking at me intently.

I hadn't realized it, but we were parked.

I had no idea when or for how long. I looked outside the window and was in awe. We were parked on a cliff, somewhere outside of the city, and the view was incredible.

I lost all train of thought, as I opened the door of the car and stepped out. I forgot about the cold for a moment, but was quickly reminded of it when I felt the wind blow.

I shivered as I looked at my surroundings.

A blanket was placed over my shoulders, which I graciously wrapped around my arms.

"Thanks, this is beautiful." I said, smiling up at him.

The city looked so lively at night, everything was illuminated, and glistening. I felt like a weight was being taken off of my shoulders, just by simply standing here.

"I come here a lot, when I need somewhere to get away. It's my own personal retreat." He said, taking a big exhale.

Even though I had this warm blanket, I still could feel my teeth begin to chatter. I was in my boxers for fucks sake.

"I wish I had a place like this, i'd come here everyday." I said through chattered teeth.

I unconsciously moved towards Ashton's body, which was radiating with warmth. I didn't even flinch when I felt him place his arm around me, I simply nuzzled closer.
