☂Calum☂
I awoke with a start, gripping the shirt fabric around my heart.
A small banging sound echoed throughout my room.
With my hand still tightly gripped on my shirt, I slid myself out of bed. I tripped on a pillow, that was carelessly thrown on the floor, trying to get to the light switch on the other side of my room.
As I stood back up I jumped, hearing the noise again. It was around 10:30pm, so blackness engulfed my room. I always hated the winter season, because it got dark around 5pm, and that led to me getting tired early.
I felt around the wall in search of the light switch, flinching every time I heard the banging.
"Found it!" I shouted, triumphantly. I closed my eyes in reaction to the sudden light change as I flipped the switch.
I opened the door to my room, and poked my head out, looking around for the source behind the banging. The noise only grew louder, with me opening the door.
"Seriously, what the fuck?" I whispered to myself. I began to get a little scared, and I felt my heart rate pick up. I crept down the stairs, cautiously, not making any loud noises. It was probably my mom, forgetting the house key, needing me to open the door.
I peaked outside one of the windows that viewed the front of my house, but it was so dark out that I couldn't see anyone at the door. The banging noise startled me again as I walked towards the front door.
Maybe I should've turned some lights on.
I unlocked the front of the door, and pulled it about an inch open, so that I was able to see who it was before opening it.
"Hello?" I asked aloud, squinting my eyes in the darkness.
"I've been knocking on your door for a good 5 minutes. Where were you, jerking off?" A voice replied.
Oh my fucking God.
"A-Ashton?!" I shouted opening the door wider.
He was dressed in the same peacoat, and scarf I saw him in earlier. The temperature seemed to have dropped, at least, 15 degrees, because each exhale he took made clouds in the air.
"You didn't reply to my texts, so I figured i'd use that as an excuse to see you again." He stated, looking me up and down.
I don't know if I shivered from the cold air, or from what Ashton just said to me. I pulled my sleeves over my hands, shielding them from the cold.
It made me feel warm inside, knowing that he wanted to see me. I did feel as though I was going to pass out, but regardless I felt a smile creep onto my face.
I was glad it was dark out, because that meant he couldn't see me blushing. Although seeing him on my doorstep made me happy, I knew that i'd get into more trouble if my mom saw that he was over.
"I'm sorry I didn't reply to your texts, it's just that I'm grounded." I said embarrassedly, as I shivered again from the cold.
Ashton frowned, and opened his lips to speak, but I cut him off.
"Do not think this was because of you, it was me." Wow, this sounded like I was breaking up with him.
I didn't want him to think that he was the reason I was in trouble. That would just make me feel....
Guilty.
"I'm sorry that you're grounded, but you're still going on a ride with me." He said as if I had no choice, obviously feeling better from my reassurance.
"I-I don't think that's such a good idea. I don't want to get into more trouble." I stated lamely.
I think I was still in a sleepy daze, because I didn't feel all that shocked at what he said.
"Well, I think I'll just have to kidnap you." He spoke looking at me seriously.
Okay, i'm wide awake now. I was a little scared, he didn't sound like he was joking.
"I gotta go, see you later." I nervously smiled up at him, gripping the door handle to close it.
I was quickly stopped, by the feeling of myself being picked up.
"Ashton!" I moaned loudly as he put me over his shoulder.
I was kind of just wearing an oversized hoodie, and my boxers, because I took my pants off before I went to sleep. I hadn't thought much of it until now, because my ass was literally inches from his face.
"You told me earlier that you'd take me up on my offer to carry you." He stated, so confident with himself.
"This is not what I meant!" I shrieked, as I tried squirming to release myself.
He just chuckled, and pulled the door of my house shut with his free hand, that wasn't holding me.
"Let me go!" I remained squirming, trying to remove myself from his grip.
He walked me to his car, and pulled the passengers seat door open, setting me down on the seat. The car was already running, so it was warm, thankfully.
I was frozen in my place. I should just open the door and run, but there was a part of me that was excited. I turned my head to the sound of the drivers side door opening.
Ashton sat down on the drivers seat of the car, closing the door behind him.
"So, where do you want to go?" Ashton asked, looking at me cheekily.
I swallowed, and opened my mouth to speak.
"Anywhere away from here." I said turning away from him, and averting my gaze to the window.
