Cade

"What the fuck did you do?" Jan's voice startles me as I exit the bathroom. I needed to get rid of my problem. I couldn't just walk around all day with a screaming boner in my pants.

"What are you talking about?" I always play the calm card with Jan when he is mad. I like to mess around with his brain.

"Don't play innocent with me, Cade! You did something to her! I found her sitting on the doorsteps in the heat. She looked like she had seen a ghost or something. And I imagine that has something to do with you!" He finishes talking and I smile. Jan has always been too dramatic for our kind. He is lucky he is my brother, otherwise, I wouldn't have put up with his shit.

"Jan, with all my love. Shut the fuck up! What I do is none of your business!" I tell him a bit pissed.

"Who do you think mom is going to kill if her precious heir fucks up, huh? Me!" My anger boils in my blood as he mentions the whole situation, but I try to stay calm. He is not the problem here. Mommy dearest is.

"Just remember what happened to Reyna. Do you want Idalia to go down the same path?" He asks me and I lose it. I punch him in the nose and then walk away. When I look at my knuckles I see blood, his blood. I smile with contempt as I enter my office. He had it coming. He's been stepping on my nerves for quite some time now.

Idalia

"Hey, hun!" Ava's voice comes too cheerful from the other side of the line.

"Hey, cupcake! How is London?" I ask her and wait for her answer.

"Oh, you know. All sun and no rain!" She says and I chuckle because I know it's bullshit. "And the guys haven't gotten any hotter either." She adds and I laugh at her comment.

"I miss you!" I tell her.

"Miss you too, hun! But I will return in 6 days. Don't do anything stupid while I'm gone!" She says and memories of the kiss I just had earlier come to my mind, making me rub my legs together.

"I will leave all the stupid things to you!" I tell her and she squeals with joy.

"I will make sure to do them all!" She says and I know what she means.

"Go get 'em! Luv ya! Bye!" I tell her and end the call. It's not like she needs to know every detail of my life.

I decide to borrow the most sparkling dress Ava owns. It's a strapless rose gold dress that hugs my body really well, making my ass look fantastic. The only problem is that it will itch like a bitch but the way it will shine in the club makes it all worth the pain. I pair it with some nude ridiculously high heels and go remove my makeup so I can redo it.

My phone buzzez with the text of Jan, telling me where I should go. I know the place. It's very high class so my choice of dress will fit perfectly.

I keep my make-up simple. I want the dress to be the eyestopper. I add some extra volume to my hair using some clip-on extensions and a hint of transparent red to my lips. A pop of gloss and I am ready.

By the time I reach the club, it's already 11 pm. As soon as I reach the bar, I take a tequila shot and the ask where the VIP area is. The bartender points me to a secluded area of the club that is on a different floor level. I roll my eyes as I remember the last time I was in the club and ran into him. My heart starts to beat very fast. What am I doing here? He will think I am being clingy and following him around.

As I search Jan with my gaze, my eyes fall upon Cade that is kissing another woman. His eyes meet mine for a brief second, the exact moment when I cover my mouth and let my tears run down my cheeks. I turn around and run. I don't need this! I don't need this job! I don't need him! My life was perfectly fine before him!

I get in my car and text Matteus my address, inviting him to come over. He replies that he can be there in 15 minutes. I reach my appartment just a couple of minutes before him and open a bottle of wine. I take a couple of gulps and end up drinking half the bottle by the time he gets here. I open the door with the bottle still in my hand and take another gulp.

"Whoa! You look hot!" He says and goes in for a kiss. I let him kiss me. I need him to wash away all the memories of today.

We get inside my apartment and I open a new bottle of wine to serve him because mine is almost finished.

"Rough day?" He asks while drinking his.

"Yeah! I hate corporate events!" I tell him even though there's no need to explain myself.

"Let me make it better, then!" He says and pulls me next to him. His lips claim mine in a hurried kiss. His hands squeeze my ass and I am hoping that I would feel something, but I don't. I just need more wine. I softly push him away and he stops. I take the bottle of wine and drink straight from it, the red staining my lips and I push him to sit down the couch. I unzip the itchy dress and let it fall on the ground, remaining in my nude underwear. He licks his lips as he studies me from head to toes and I take some more gulps of wine. I need to be brave! Matteus is a nice guy! He is kind and caring! He is perfect for me!

My phone starts ringing. I take it out of my purse and see Cade's name flashing on the screen. More wine it is, I think to myself as I finish the bottle. By now, my head is spinning and I feel brave enough to straddle Matteus and pull him into another kiss. I can feel his erection standing in his pants and I rub myself against it. My phone continues to light up, probably because he is still calling and that makes my blood boil. I rub my hand over his crotch and he moans in my mouth. He pulls down my bra, releasing my right breast and latches his lips onto my nipple. I moan imagining that those are Cade's lips. My entire body hurts with need, but his hands don't wake any sensation on my skin. I pull him out and push my panties to the side, letting myself slide down on him. I feel so full, but there is no pleasure. I ride him hard and fast, trying to feel something but my body refuses to cooperate. He continues to play with his lips against my skin while I chase a finish that doesn't seem to happen and then he pushes himself out and releases himself in his fist. I smile at him and he kisses me gently.

"Let me go get this cleaned up!" He says and walks to the bathroom. I fix my bra back and dress myself ignoring the pain between my legs. As Matteus exists the bathroom all dressed, I hear a loud knock on my door. I go and open it just to see Cade there. My body freezes as Matteus comes behind me and wraps his hand around my waist. I can see Cade's jaw clenching as his eyes burn into mine.

"I need you back, miss Lumien!" He tells me more as a command. I just nod.

"Let me get my bag and we can go!" I tell him.

"I guess we can call this a night. See you tomorrow, baby!" Matteus gives me a peck on the lips and walks past a now furious Cade. I go inside to take my purse but I hear the door closing behind me and the lock.

I turn to see a raging furious Cade in the middle of my living room. My mouth runs dry as my body freezes in place. His eyes meet mine and I am completely taken by him. He is so intimidating right now. There is this aura of dominance that eludes him.
