chapter 8: Student council

"alright everyone, starting today, November 18th until  December 9th  will be the start of the campaign of the Student Council!" Everyone in the class begins to whisper among each other,

Some look like they prepared for this since the start.

"As you know, the position of Student council members the position will be held for 4 years until the next elections" The teacher announced, the Class once again whispered with each other.

"Today we will start, gathering the Candidates for the different positions of student council"

She begins to list out the position of the Student body.

[First is the Student council Pres. Do I need to Even explain]

[Next, the Vice Pres. If the student pres. Is sick or scolded! The vice will take over!]

[Mayor... You know what...]

[The manager! They manage everything for the others...]

[Secretary, do I?]

[The Organizer by the name they Organize, the festivals and Events on or off]

[The Treasury - manage financial stuffs and Helps in Funds raisers?]

[And lastly we have, the GOS or The General order staff, these is a group, of council members, Who keep Order and peace around the school they are usually picked, in secret after the main student body have been elected]

She finished writing down the position. "For student council President who would like to try their hand..."

Charly slowly Breathes, Hey Raised his hand, "Charly! Great! Any other students who would to try their hand..."

The class fell silent, they already new that, they won't win when voting time is in order... "Ok then..."

She wrote down his name, "how about Vice President?" Everyone raised their hand expect for Heal, Ana and Kris. 

'working with Charly! It's a dream! At this, point!'

"Charly, step forward please..." He slowly stands and makes his way Infront of class. "Everyone lower your  hands..."

She turns to him, "who would like to be your Vice?" She whispered... And gave him the marker... He turns to the whiteboard...

And slowly writes their names, Ana, Heal, and Jade. '(rude, I'm not included in that?)' and writes Kris' name. '(nevermind)'

"Any violent reactions?" The teacher asked. The class went in uproar! About this and that! In the misted of this chaos, Someone sprayed, some cologne and this made- "Achoo!" Charly Rub his nose... Everyone's face when pink and they all sat down..

"Do you four would like to pull out?" All of them didn't pullout. Charly was returned to his seat.

"Don't worry, about, Charly!" They all suddenly popped out of nowhere...

The rest of the nominations where picked smoothly, and the voting round began.

Vice president, was tie, between, Jade and Kris. "tie breaker! One of you must convince, Charly why you should be the Vice President..."

(I won't be a good candidate, I could do Housework but leadership and teamwork? No...) He points at Jade.

'(now that's taken care off)' he puts on his earphones and played some music and reads his book.

The rest of The voting session, went smoothly... "The candidates has been selected for our class, your subject should be here in a minute"

The homeroom teacher said, as she left to submit the paper...

Launch finally came, "we should help each other out since I'll be your vice" Jade said, Charly was starting with his campaign. "what do you think our goals should be?" He asked, "enforcing school rules, bringing order,  You the usually..." she turns to Charly for a response... "I want to stand out" He wrote down... "stand out?"

"Yeah I want to stand out from the crowd, I feel like if we do the same thing, as the others It won't make us stand out they might just pick other running" He wrote down... 'a weird Mindset but...' "sure, what do you had in mind?"  he quickly turned the page, it was empty... he closed the page, before turning to Jade. 'is he going to say it to me?' 

he stands up and raced out of the classroom, "Yo!-" He ran past Ana and heal. A few minutes later he came back more calm this time.

"what was that all about?" he looks at her confused... "you just up and left and ran out of the classrooms!" he wrote down his reasoning. "I had to use the bathroom" He said, "why did you say anything?" "I couldn't hold it in"

"anyways, what were your Ideas." she asked... "student skill improvement, mental heath awareness, Improved festivals, New festivals, new Events, New Student programs," and so on so forth. They were amazed by the ideas he had... "woah! you think about these thing quickly!" Ana complimented. "

"thanks, I made those on the spot!" He smiled... they all stared at him strangely... 'did I do something wrong- shoot!' He quickly covered his face, "aha! it's the first time I saw him properly get embarrassed!" Ana said laughing at his reaction. "hm! hm! quite true! and it's quite cute when he does get Embarrassed!"

Jade pats his back.

"attention all students! attention all students! Students from the 6th and up your are being called to the School Gym!" The Vice-Principal voice came up in the speakers... "what is it now!" Ana angrily sighed and left for the gym. heal gathered his notepad and ran after Ana. "should we get going?" He nods.

after all long walk to the gym, they reached the Gym and find there spot... "oi! over here!" Riley called waving from them... they walked over to them. "I heard you're running for Student Council President. Good luck out there!" She said giving him a thumbs up.

"welcome all to the start of the student council, Campaign of 2021 First I would like to introduce our candidates for Student council Presidents and Vice presidents!" Each one of them was called up to the stand, "and lastly Charly Dela as the Candidate for President for Class 7-C and Jade Parlor for Vice President"

the two stood up and they immediately stand out as the only junior high students who were candidates for student Council Pres and Vice. as the principal gave his speech the students couldn't but stare at the ever handsome, Charly. He can feel the stares of School mates. "would anyone of you would like to speak? to begin the campaign?" none of them prepared a speech nor they were expecting to give speech, Charly stepped forward. 'if you're planning to run for Student Council president, I might as well start practicing now...' he walks up to the stage...

he takes a deep breath, "I-"

"your Voice is surprisingly Great! and you really calming! you should more!" - Ana

"your voice has change since the last time, I met you!" - Riley

"quite the amazing voice you have! can you sing!?" - Heal

[I wonder why, he cut that out?] - Kris

"Alright then see guys next week!" Ana waved goodbye as they walk to their home. Jade and Charly began to walk home... "hey... you have a great voice" She said looking away... He smiled
