Chapter 86: 7 days of Childhood

Charly And Jade sat down done with their Interviews. "Well it looks like that's it," Jade said, "who's your pick?" Charly asked, "Leon Jav, who's your pick?" "Harley Silverkeep" Jade stood up, "well, looks like we are getting a proper break!" she said stretching out, "I'll go and get some food" He nods, and Jade left the room. Charly was left to clean up. Alberich walked, "I see you are done" He walks to him, and Charly hands him the notes. He was satisfied with the picks. "hmmm... yes" 

"well... it's time for their trial this Wednesday" Charly stood up and took his bag. "I'll take care of the announcements both you have your fun" Charly thanks him, "No need you have worked hard enough" 

Charly left the room, and Jade walked you to him. "leaving already?" he nods, and Jade smiled. she hands him some snacks. they both left the school.

the day is now Wednesday and the start of the 7 days of Childhood, an event to celebrate the birthday of the Founder of Escura!

All of the Selected Members of the Elementary Council all sit down in the chairs of their Seniors.

Charly and others were staying quiet and waiting. Alberich soon walked into the room.

He looks at each one of the Junior council members. The President is Harley Silverkeep, and next to her is the Vice, Leon Jav.

The Secretary sat Next to them, Nile Goldsmith. Then the Treasury, Huley Bail, the Organizer, Holly Pray, next to her sits Urisa Abel, the Mayor.

And lastly the manager Bervil Jesti.

They all look very capable. "Congratulations to you all" he clapped, He turned to Older members.  He taps his feet.

Charly quickly tapped Jade. "Ah! Right congratulations!" She Claps, and Everyone else followed. "Now, You shall have been chosen by the Elite of members of Student Council"

"You will be put under a 7-day trial where you must show your skills and Leadership to make this event worthwhile! Show this school, An Event like no other!"

"Yes sir!"

Their tasks are simple, The manager and Organizer will make sure that everything is going well and smoothly, and the mayor makes sure nothing rough is going on. the treasury is there to manage finances coming from the donations, the Secretary is to keep track of Dates, changes, and Attendance.

As for the President and Vice, they need to make sure this event doesn't go to waste and everything is done correctly and shows up to Events. Pretty easy ride if you ask me.

As for Charly and the others, they get to have some rest.

"Get to know each other first the event doesn't Until 9:00," Alberich said as he left the room.

"One more thing to mention we would be periodically come in and check your progress... other than that the Office is yours, just don't take any documents from the Drawers and don't make a mess. Hey, guys wait up!"  Jade ran out of the room to catch up with the others but was stopped by her Buddies.

The room fell silent. the hum of the Air conditioner was not helping the awkwardness.

"I guess I should go first?" Harley looked to Leon. He shrugged, "well you are the President!" Huley said, "well I never really done this..." She twiddled with her hands.

"I go ahead and do it" Nile Stood up, "Hello everyone, my name is Nile Goldsmith" She bowed down. "Classy" holly whispered to Bervil.

"Who's next?" "Me! Me!" Holly stood up, "Hi! everyone my name is Holly Pray! Nice to meet you all!" Everyone waved hello.

Alberich sighed... Looks like they are getting along pretty well. "Hello, I am Bervil jesti, I am the manager" he smiled. The Vice Stood up, he looked scary. His eyes wander around the room. His face went from blank to a soft smile, "nice to meet you all, I am your Vice President, Leon Jav"

Everyone Fell silent. Nile cleared her throat. Hurley quickly broke it and spoke,

"Hi! Hello! I am Huley Bail!" Holly waved, She waved back. I have a feeling they're going to be good friends.

Urisa stood up nervously, "umm... Good morning everyone... My name is Urisa, a Pleasure seeing you all," she quickly sat down and hid.

All eyes were on Harley was the last one left not to introduce herself. "Can we get this over with?"

"Huley you, be more patient,"  Leon said. "And have some respect for Harley," Nile said.

"Whatever" "and watch your mouth too"

An argument broke between the two, And it looks like it wasn't going to be resolved... Alberich pondered as the Argument got more and more heated.

He placed a hand on the door handle...

"Guys! Stop fighting, there is no need for us to do that, we are here today because we were picked out of thousands of other students. We are here because in the eyes of our seniors we are the best of best. So why can't we be all friends? For our classmates! We did out a proper image for them, and I Promise that we stick together as one! For I am your President Harley Silverkeep!"

She finished her speech. "Ok... I can live with that" huley and Nile sat back down.

Alberich smiled, "Charly, do you do it?" How can he pick someone perfect to handle a Band of Misfits?

Speaking of A certain someone. "Here you go" Alice hands him an ice cream. "You didn't have... Too" He said taking, it. "Come on! You deserved it!" She smiled, Alice wasn't being herself again. Charly shivered from the memory of The summer trip.

"T-thank you" "No problem... Now, do you want to walk around a bit?" She asked, Charly nodded. He wouldn't mind it. They walked down the Aisle as the many stations get set up.

"Hey look over there!" She pointed at a Nearby station, Charly forgot to put In his glasses... He could feel his hand being pulled! 'Wait?'

Charly took a deep breath... And let it out "Alice... Alice..." Ana had his own Station. Ana spots it... 'Don't mention it! Don't mention!'

He Cleared his Throat, "what can you two?" He asked lean closers. Charly asked for Caramel and Alice for her Usual.

"Coming... Wait, can we serve anyone?" Charly shrugs. "Beth, Let's get cooking!"

"I am not a Barista" Ana knew that... "Come back later when Heal gets here..." Ana stared at Charly. "Charly..." Busted. He tugged on Alice's Uniform. "You aren't in uniform!" Ana chased him down. Alice and Charly ran. "Think of the Paycheck!!!" Ana still manages to catch up to them. "She's quick!"

"So you and your sister, aren't close?" Chilly asked, "no! No! We are close" chilly stopped Clover, as Charly and Alice Ran past them. They Both smiled at their Siblings while passing by.

"Come on, Charly!" Ana sped through. Chilly and Clover looked at each other.

"They're cool!"

Alice Was getting tired, it was not every day that she runs in her Uniform. She was getting winded...

Charly took the lead. A crowd of students was ahead of them. Charly took off his glasses and pulled his hair back.

"I'll be back" Charly disappeared into the crowd. Ana looked around the crowd...

Alice was lost. She looked around. Charly took her hand. "Ah-" "sh!" Charly moved away and into the English Club.

Charly sighed and fixed his hair... "Looks like we lost him" Charly need to catch his breath. They both did.
