The Next Day

I had woken up feeling quite refreshed after yesterday's initiation.

Sil: 'You know I thought it'd be weird living on campus but I could get the hang of this'

I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and take a quick morning shower. After that I went to get dressed for the day. I checked my scroll and saw a new app named Beacon. I opened it to see a notice that detailed the rundown of how classes worked at Beacon for 1st years.

Sil: 'Let's see what this is about'

I began to read the schedule. It detailed the following. Classes are separated into a morning session and an afternoon session. Every weekday is a different class: Monday is Grimm Studies 1, Tuesday is History of Remnant, Wednesday is Weapon's Maintenance, Thursday is Combat Class, Friday is a designated make-up day, and Weekends are off time for the students. Morning session for classes begin at 9:00 Sharp and end at 12:00. Lunch is served in the cafeteria at 12:00. Afternoon classes begin at 1:00 and end at 4:00.

Sil: 'That doesn't seem too complicated'

I clicked off the notice and saw my personal schedule had been updated onto my scroll

Sil: 'Mondays and Wednesdays I'm in the morning session while Tuesdays and Thursdays I get to sleep in. If only I could be lucky enough to get all afternoon classes. It's 8:30 now so I'll prob start heading over to the lecture hall for class. I wonder what Summer's up to right now? I didn't wake up to a mountain of texts from her this morning.

Team STRQ's Dorm Room

Summer: Hurry up Raven. There are other people who need the bathroom to get ready

I had woken up a bit ago to find all of my other teammate awake and either ready or getting ready. I checked my scroll and learned of Beacon's scheduling and curriculum. Team STRQ has morning classes on Mondays and Tuesdays meaning we only have about half an hour before class starts.

Summer: Come on Raven open up

Raven: You can't rush beauty, so you'll just have to be patient.

Summer: Oh my oum, what are you even doing in there at this point? The water isn't running anymore meaning you've already showered.

Qrow: Just forget it Summer. No point in trying to rush Raven she was like this back home too.

Tai: Oh yeah I've been meaning to ask you something Qrow.

Qrow: Hm?

Tai: Are you and Raven twins?

Qrow: Sadly....

I turned around to look at my teammates.

Summer: I wish I had a twin. We would have so much fun together and I'd never leave his or her side

Tai: I wish I had a twin so I could always have someone to spar with

Qrow: That's if you get lucky and you're twin doesn't turn out like Raven

I giggled a bit

Summer: I mean besides the fact that she takes an eternity in the bathroom, what's so bad about her?

Qrow: Trust me once you live with her for awhile you'll understand, which is also why I woke myself and Tai up half an hour early to get dressed.
