Weapons Maintenance

The next day I had weapons maintenance class to head to in the morning. After arriving in the workshop that was serving as the "classroom" I was greeted by STRQ.

Raven: Good morning Sil

Summer: Sillll

Qrow: Morning

Tai: Yo

Sil: Morning STRQ

Tai started to walk in front of everyone while simultaneously getting excited

Tai: THIS IS GONNA BE GREAT

I turn towards the rest of STRQ

Sil: Is he ok?

Qrow: He's been going on and on about how cool of a class weapons maintenance is

Sil: Is it even a class?

Summer: I mean it's cool I guess but it's no cookie

The Branwen twins both looked in confusion

Qrow/Raven: Huh....

???: Good morning Students, I am Professor Metal your Weapons Maintenance teacher

Sil: 'Real creative name'

Metal: This class will teach you the very basics of dust although if I'm being honest, Most of you went to Signal and you all are trying to become huntsman so you should know about the intricacies of dust

Qrow whispered

Qrow: He's not wrong.....

Metal: And I can't believe I actually have to say this but I'll be teaching you all how not to suck with a weapon

Sil: 'I mean Ozpin does kind of just let anyone in here'

Metal: Finally you'll all be using this period to fix any damages on your weapons and If anyone needs advice on how to modify a weapon just ask, Please ask this is like the only fun part of my job

Sil: 'Father always said to never become a teacher'

Metal: So now that I've got the introduction out of the way if your stupid I mean if you're new come to the front of the workshop so I can lecture you on dust. Now if your signal teachers actually did their job you can go work on your weapons. Remember if you have questions I'm here

After that speech I turned my attention back to Tai.

Sil: So Tai what's with you and weapons

Tai gave a familiar starry eyed look.

Tai: Weapons are what make us Huntsman, Weapons are what determine fights 'to a certain extent' , weapons are the definition of unique

Qrow: I never really thought you'd be a weapons enthusiast

Tai: I told you that we should get to know each other more.....

For a second I could of sworn I saw a lightbulb appear above Summer's head.

Summer: THAT'S A GREAT IDEA

Qrow: Tai having a good idea.....

Tai: HEY

Summer: We should get to know each other more, kinda like a group activity

Qrow: I also think it's a good idea, we should do it

Tai deadpanned.

Tai: 'Of coarse he agrees with it now that Summer's the one suggestion we do it'

I turned to see Raven at a workstation examining her own weapon while seemingly lost in her own world. I made my way over to her.

Sil: Staring at your weapon won't make it any stronger
