The next day had arrived and I had woken up to a message from the headmaster.

Ozpin: Good Morning Silenius, I've forwarded the details on the topic we discussed earlier.

Sil: 'Oh yeah, I totally didn't forget about that. I'm sure Summer's bouncing off the wall because of this'

I began to read out the notice Oz had sent. It read "Attention students, Due to your combat prowess and sense of justice you have been selected to be apart of the first generation of Beacon Law Enforcement or BLE for short"

Sil: 'Real creative name'

"The BLE will be comprised of twenty total students each patrolling on different days. This brings us into what your main duties/requirments will be. As a member of the BLE you will be asked to patrol certain areas of the campus on certain days on a weekly schedule while also attending the monthly meeting. You will be asked to stop and report all suspicious behaviors or blatant violations of the rules. There are exceptions however. If for some reason you are unable to commit to a certain shift then you have the option of switching with someone. If your team is away on a mission you will be exempted from any duties. If you have suffered an injury that makes you incapable of patrolling then you'll be exempted. Your schedules will be email right after this message. As for the benefits for doing this job..."

Sil: 'These benefits better be worth giving up so much of my free time'

"Members of the BLE will be paid a set amount of lien on a bi-weekly basis while also receiving extra credit on all courses taken in the Beacon curriculum. You also gain access to the Beacon staff break room"

Sil: 'So money, grades and food....nice'

"This marks the end of the notice. Remember you may leave the BLE at any moment without facing any sort of consequences besides losing all privileges gain from being a member that is. If you have any questions, feel free to drop by my office or send a message via scroll. I thank you all for participating. This may well be the first step to truly making a difference." After reading the message I also notice right after it was the schedule. I began to read the important parts.

Sil: 'So we patrol in pairs and the schedule has 4 different versions. On each version I have Monday afternoons while on only one version I take Friday mornings, I guess the different versions were done in order to make it so one pair wasn't always losing there Friday. The schedule starts next week'

BUZZ. My scroll went off. Summer had messaged me.

Summer: Morning Sil, You awake yet?

I replied immediately.

Sil: Yeah, I"m assuming you read the message from the Headmaster

Summer: Yep 'Insert Popping Noise'

Sil: Really....

Summer: HEY popping p's is kinda my thing anyways how lucky is it that we got paired together?

I laughed a bit out loud before replying.

Sil: There's no luck to it, the professor 100 percent paired us together on purpose. Probably because people who actually know each other work better than people who don't

Summer: Come on isn't it more fun to think of it as fate brought us together because were besties

Sil: Whatever tends your garden

Summer: Can't wait to see you fight Raven today, do you think you'll win again?

Sil: I mean I'm confident that I win today but you never know what kind of new strategy Raven will employ to win
