An Expected Rematch

1st Person POV (Silenius)

As soon as I heard the signal from the Professor I dashed towards Raven with the same speed I used at the end of our last fight.

Sil: 'Last time I let you move the fight along but since I already know what you can do I'll be going all out from the start'

Raven however seemed prepared. She immediately made a vertical slash in front of her creating one of those red portals from the Griffon fight which teleported me a little bit above the ground behind her which lead to me charging right into the ground. While I was attempting to recover, Raven utilized her purpled blade to issue a heavy strike towards my back. I quickly rolled to the left to dodge before converting Hell into Heaven to deliver two shots. In the end lag of Ravens heavy attack she was hit with both shots of ice dust which froze her for a bit. Seizing the opportunity I rushed her again while switching my weapon back to sword form to unleash a volley of burning slashes which managed to leave a decent bit of damage to her aura before Raven now freed managed to swing her blade at me forcing me to retreat.

Sil: 'She really caught me off guard with that portal, How is she able to do it now but not before? I'm sure she wasn't holding back last time so what's changed?'

Raven switched from a purple to a blue blade.

Sil: 'A new color'

Raven then made diagonal upwards slash which released a torrent of what I assumed were ice shards. I switched my weapon again in order to make an ice wall to block the attack

Sil: 'That was close, Im not really looking to find out what'll happen if that mini Blizzard hits me'

1st PERSON POV (Summer)

I was completely struck at the opening of the fight. I gave out a quiet squeal

Summer: DIDYOUSEETHAT

Tai: Uh What?

Summer: Sorry did you see that opening

Qrow gave a sarcastic reply.

Qrow: We're watching the same fight as you Summer

Tai joined in with a smile on his face.

Tai: It was pretty cool though,Sil really is good

I gave a proud look.

Summer: Yeah I thought Raven had caught him off guard but clearly not

Tai: Well that's not entirely true

Confusion evident on my face

Summer: Hm? What do you mean?

Tai: Sil was caught off guard no doubt about it. You can tell by the fact that he didn't fall from the portal with any sort of landing technique he just went face first

Qrow mumbled.

Qrow: You caught that?

Tai: But even while blindsided Sil's instinctual dodge  and counter attack were impeccable

Qrow: Yeah he turned a perfect counter attack against him into a winning position for himself

Tai: 'No wonder Raven wanted to fight him, If he's this good I wanna get crack at him as well'

1st PERSON POV (Silenius)

Sil: 'If she can use those portals now then just charging at her isn't going to go so hot. Had she used a faster weapon then I probably wouldn't have gotten away with that counterat-'

Before I could finish my thought a red portal appeared to my right followed by Raven with her purple blade making a horizontal slash at me.

Sil: 'She's too close to me I can't make a proper dodge, I have to just block'
