Saturn woke up to the sound of John B's rooster screaming at the world that it was time to join the land of the living.

It was the moment she realized she was in John B's bed wearing some of the boy's clothes that she remembered the night before and her face instantly flushed. They had kissed, John B had kissed her and she kissed him. They told each other how they felt and were completely honest with one another.

The pair hadn't done any more than kissing but they found a new form of comfort in one another and it gave Saturn hope that she wouldn't end up miserable and alone forever.

"Good morning." John B hummed in a low grumbly morning voice that never affected her before but when he paired it with his arm sliding around her waist and pulling her closer that the girl's face instantly flushed a deep red.

"Good morning." Saturn replied in a small voice as she listened to his calm breathing his chest rising and falling against her back.

"I don't ever want to leave this bed." The boy said as he thought about the scuba gear the pair had to bring back that day.

"Yeah, me neither. Well I just don't want to go home." Saturn responded with a from. John B also frowned at her words knowing that home was the furthest from a safe place for her.

"We can go together to take the gear back then come back here." John B promised not wanting to leave her side after last night.

He'd be lying if he said it went exactly how he thought it would. He hadn't expected her to reciprocate his feelings let alone feel so similarly. It made sense though, she understood him she knows that when he talks about his father he doesn't want someone to just sit there and tell him to get over it. Saturn never told him to move on from the moment she met him.

Saturn supported John B in every way possible and she knows that he'd do the same for her, that's where their comfort lies. In the promises to always be a judgeless support system.

"He's going to be so pissed I didn't come home. If he even noticed that is." Saturn muttered pushing her hair away from her face. "Hey, it'll be okay." John B reassured turning on his side and cupping her face. Saturn nodded closing her eyes and taking a deep breath. John B took that moment to admire her. The way her eyelashes cast shadows against her freckled cheekbones. Her cheeks were flushed and her hair all over the place but she still looked beautiful to him, she always would.

"Wheezie, shut up." Saturn flinched as John B clanged one of the scuba tanks against something stirring her sleeping sister.
