"Yes, dad I know there's a hurricane I'm not blind." Saturn said gesturing towards the news channel that was playing on the Cameron's overly large television. "I'm going to John B's I'm gonna stay the night there." She said holding her bag over her shoulder against the side of her body.
"Saturn, is there something going on between you two? I really don't want that to affect how he does his job." Ward responded eyeing his daughter carefully waiting for her response.
Saturn pondered the question for a minute, they weren't dating, and they hadn't done anything, I'm fact if anything her and JJ had more going on than her and John B because they had kissed one time, which caused John B to make to 'no Pogue on Pogue marking.' a rule.
Ward, however, noticed his daughters hesitation and raised his eyebrows. "No, dad we don't have anything going on. He's just my friend." She explained wanting to get as far away from the house as possible.
"Right, I forgot. It's that Maybank kid right? The one you brought to dinner last summer?" Saturn groaned as her father continued to ask questions, sure she was annoyed beyond belief that he wouldn't drop it but some part of her was happy that he was even paying attention to her.
"No, I'm not dating anyone. Can I go now?" She didn't wait for a response and fled from the large house getting into her car and driving away from Figure 8.
"Hurricane Agatha is said to reach land later tonight."
The voice on Saturn's radio said as she pulled into the Chateau's driveway parking her car next to Pope's truck, she furrowed her eyebrows when she noticed the van wasn't there.
"Hey Satty!" Saturn looked up to see JJ watching he from the porch, a bowl of cereal in his hands as she grabbed her bag from the passenger seat. "Hey J, where's everyone?" She asked pointing to Pope's truck as she followed the blonde into the house.
He shrugged taking a seat next to Saturn on the pullout couch. "They were gone when I got here." He said his mouth full of cereal. "Ew, don't talk with your mouth full." Saturn complained shoving the boy's head away from her when he opened his mouth to show her the food inside.
"Fucking nasty." She gagged quickly getting up and sitting in the chair across from his causing the boy to pout. "I'm surprised your dad let you come here." He said after finishing his food and setting the bowl on the coffee table between them.
"I don't even think he was listening when I told him I wasn't coming home. Just asked if anything was going on between me and John B." She said causing JJ to raise his eyebrows. "He also asked about you too so don't even."
