"You guys really dress like this when you party?" JJ asked as Saturn led the blonde through Topper's large house. "Yeah, cocktail dresses and heels for the girls and button downs and khakis for the boys, we're lucky we already looked this good." She responded stopping in the kitchen where several other people were getting drinks.
"I like the boneyard better." JJ concluded taking the shot glass that Saturn held out for him. "We'll see." She responded clinking their glasses together before throwing back the shot.
The two were drunk rather quickly, taking several shots and playing multiple rounds of flip cup. JJ hated to admit it but he was having fun, and once the Kooks got drunk they didn't bring up the fact he was Pogue.
Parties were one of the only times that Saturn became more popular than Sarah, she flourished in the setting simply because she wasn't scared to have a good time, she didn't care what anyone else thought of her when she got drunk and she had a great time.
"Fuck yeah!" JJ cheered as Saturn flipped her solo cup being the last person in line signaling their teams victory. "Atta girl!" He said hugging Saturn tightly and lifting her from the ground a few inches.
"I'm a queen what can I say." She giggled holding her drink carefully not to spill it down JJ's back. "I'm gonna go to the bathroom real quick." She yelled over the music causing JJ to nod and let her go holding onto her drink for her, Saturn was cautious about who she left her drinks with but she trusted JJ and knew he would never do anything to endanger her.
Saturn stumbled through the sweaty bodies of drunken teenagers towards the second floor bathroom knowing the first floor one was probably in use. She was hot as hell, the humid North Carolina weather making her skin sticky and her forehead shine.
"Finally." She whispered to herself pushing open the bathroom door and locking it behind her as she went to the bathroom. She had broken the seal about an hour ago resulting in her running to the bathroom multiple times.
Saturn sat on the toilet for a moment trying to catch her breath as she listened to the music that was being muffled by the bathroom door and walls. "Fuck." Saturn muttered when she realized just how drunk she was before wiping and flushing before heading to the sink and washing her hands.
She took a moment and splashed some cold water onto her skin in hopes to sober herself up but it wasn't happening. So she sucked in a deep as she left the bathroom in search of her blonde companion, but instead she caught sight of her brother sitting on the second story porch with a bunch of different people. She watched as he leaned down towards the coffee table and snorted a line of from what Saturn could see was cocaine.
