Saturn shook her head and laughed when John B splashed water towards her, a smirk on his lips. The blonde rolled her eyes as she flipped over onto her back and began to float, the sounds of her friends voices muffled slightly.

"Well, there is maritime salvage law." Saturn heard Pope say as she let her legs fall and began treading water, John B coming up next to her making sure to bump into her slightly.

"You can't just go to the bottom of the ocean and scoop shit up JJ!" Saturn called out as she started swimming towards the dock, pulling herself up to sit on the ladder.

"I know. I know. It's just lawyers aren't cheap, bro," JJ sighed dramatically. Kie watched with a small smirk from her spot next to Pope as John B swam up and held onto the ladder, trapping Saturn between his arms only a foot or so between them.

"As soon as they see the footage, they'll work for a comp," The Routledge boy explained looking up onto the dock, his eyes falling on Saturn once she started speaking to him.

"How do you know all of this?"

"'Cause, my dad said it like a million times."

"Yeah, that's fair," Kie concludes handing Saturn a towel once the girl had pulled herself up onto the dock, her face flushed from the fact John B had been right behind her as she did so.

"This tether is, like, really long. In the wrong weather, it could get pushed around," Pope said crossing his arms over his chest as he thought of all the possibilities.

"Then we'll go at dead calm." John B's words were followed by the sound of thunder rumbling distantly.

"So now, we just gotta wait around for the right weather."

"Yeah, I'm not a meteorologist, but I'd have to say today is not that day," Saturn spoke taking John B's hand and allowing him to lead her away from the dock, their friends following with the equipment.

"We're going to go help my dad do some deliveries," Pope said once they were all standing in the driveway. JJ nodded and smacked John B's hand as well as gave Saturn a tight hug before turning to get in Pope's pickup.

"Take me home?" Kie asked Pope who nodded and opened his door allowing her to crawl into the middle.

Saturn and John B finally found themselves alone, the boy looking over the map his father had left him while Saturn was laid across the small couch, her legs in his lap and a book in her hands.

John B let out a sigh which made Saturn look at him over the top of her book, his eyes meeting hers quickly. The boy ran a hand through his hair and leaned back, setting the papers back on the table.
