Chapter 6 // "playling hard to get hmm"

You carried the last crate down the hall to the doorway of the storage room, Where Kazuha awaited your arrival. He stepped out of the doorway to grant you access and followed you inside the room.

You stacked the last crate of supplies and food in the room, as you took a step back to look at all the organized crates you bumped into Kazuha.

Almost falling over kazuha placed a hand on your back and the other on your arm keeping you from falling to the floor.

"Carful now~, you could have hit your head."

He just stared at you for a moment as you sat there in his arms completely stunned. As you stared into his eyes your face turned a bright red and he gave you a smile followed by a soft grin as he moved your hair out of your face with his cold hand,

He lifted you up back on your feet with ease. You put your hand on his shoulder as he kept his hand on your back and the other on your waist as you regained you balance.

The boy laughed slightly as he removed his grip from your waist and slowly removed his hand from your back.

"Yeah yeah. Thanks i guess.."

You hid your flustered face from the boy and squeezed past him in the doorframe and stumbled down the hallway to the main deck, kazuha following behind you. You made your way up the stairs to where Beidou stood to tell her the simple task was done.

"Captain, the task is done."

You leaned your back against the railing, looking at Beidou as you spoke.

"I see, good job."

She smiled at you and put a hand on your shoulder, kinda like giving you a pat on the back of some sort. You smiled back at her and turned around where you looked over the main deck against the railing.

Today it was calmer outside, with a nice temperature but the breeze did not rest.

"Anything else you'd like from me, captain?"

You turned your head to her, ready for any task she desires to give you.

"Oh come on, nobody likes a suck up Y/n~"

Kazuha teased you from behind you as he walked up the stairs and leaned against the railing beside you as he laughed and then smirked at you as you rolled your eyes.
Beidou laughed and decided to join Kazuha with the teasing.

"Yeah Y/n what are you trying to do? Hmmmm?"

She teased and laughed with Kazuha as you rolled your eyes once more and stood up.

"No but for real, is there anything else needed from me? If not ill see my way to my bedroom for a bit."

"No, thats all, for now at least."

She sighed and used her hand to block the sun from hitting her directly in the eye.

"Alright then, I'll be in my room, probably reading. Just knock if you need me."

You started to walk away until Kazuha gathered all the confidence he had and opened his mouth again just as you made it halfway down the stairs.

"Oh come on Y/n theres so many better things to do than sit in your room, for example, admire the view or something. It feels great outside, the breeze is warm and calm and theres a great view up there on that sail beam you know~"

He smirked at you and pointed at the sail beam he sits on. It took you a moment to realize what he was saying. Was he requesting to take you up on the sale beam?..

"Oh yeah? Well, tell me,~ How do you think i will get up hmm?"

You had a smug grin across your face thinking you outsmarted him but of course, he always had something to say or had another way.

"Well, i've got an idea."

He smirked and pointed to the anemo vision on his belt,

(I know his vision isn't actually on his belt but pretend it is rq.)

"Mhm, yeah no, maybe another time."

You teased him with a grin and walked off to your room waving at him. You refused to give into him that easily.

You walked into your room and shut the door with a smug look on your face. You sit at your desk and tap your nails against the dark oak wood, thinking of what to do.

Kazuha's Pov:

"Mhm, yeah no, maybe another time."

The girl teased with a huge grin plastered across her face as I watched her wave at me and disappear down the hallway below me. I laugh slightly

"playing hard to get hmm."

"interesting "

I said out loud totally forgetting Captain Beidou was there. Just as my mind drifted away from reality she walked up and stood beside me leaning against the railing using her arms to hold her body up.

"Good try man."

She laughed at me and gave me a pat on the back before walking away to get a drink.

"Hmmmm..."
